Conquering the Namibian Desert on a Bicycle

After rain, mud, desert and coastal sunshine, the 2019 Nedbank Desert Dash once again led over a thousand cyclists through the mighty Namib.
Thank you to the organisers for a great event. And a big thank you to all the Gondwanians who participated and our teams who all finished within the 24 hour limit.
Namibia is known for its harsh and unforgiving landscapes, and the best way to experience the Namibian outdoors is on a bicycle.
Riders from all over the world took part in this intense event.
Gondwana Collection Namibia entered 5 teams. Two 4 person teams and three 2 person teams.
We saw the return of The Masters team. The defending champions from the 2018 Desert Dash. It was a long and tough race, and the competitors were gunning for them in the 2019 Dash.
The cyclists had till 15:00 on Saturday, 7 December, to reach the finish line.
