Command Moves
One-Two Puncher - (f + A)
Vanessa throws 2 punches; one down and one across.
Can be canceled into by her standing and crouching normals easily
Both hits cancel-able (when cancelled into)
First hit knockdowns down jumping opponents; give the opponent a hard knockdown
By itself, hits overhead knocks the opponent back; gives the opponent a soft knockdown
Sliding Puncher - (df + B)
Vanessa slides low into opponent's legs for a soft knockdown.
Hits low
Can be canceled into from Vanessa's light & heavy crouching and standing normals
Can evade some mid-air projectiles, and can be used as anti-air against air-to-air normals
Very unsafe on block or if whiffed
Not cancel-able

Vanessa is such a cool character. Definitely one of the best to me.
She is a female character boxing, super mobile, with a lot of stylish moves and a cool chara-design.
I miss these kind of character nomadays.
11:31 - 11:35 is SUCH nice movement!
It's such a shame Vanessa was terribly nerfed in UM. She fairly deserved to keep some of her combo potential.

Yeah this is my kind of character, im just starting to get into kof and she is definitely one i need to learn. She kinda reminds me of Dudley, she sure does got the mobility and the stylish moves i like.
Too bad she got nerfed really hard in this game, you should see what the original kof 2002 vanessa can do, this one is too limited.
If you want to get into kof , i suggest you to go play original kof 2002 on Fightcade or YZKOF, it has rollback netcode.
Kof 2002 UM has really bad delay netcode, it really lacks strong players in the west because of that reason, in fightcade there's a lot of strong players all the time

日本でZERO3のキャラランクで、あるプレイヤーが凄まじい弱さを誇るキャラで大活躍して(大会優勝など)、キャラランクが上がったという例もありますし

Cómo hará para hacer ese ataque que se mantiene hacia atrás luego adelante A , mientras hace el combo , abajo B B adelante A , en qué momento carga ?
2002 UM tiene una mecánica en la que al momento de activar el MAX mode, no ocupas cargar.
Cool and fancy but not enough to defeat me at least easily ! NB been playing fighting games for 28 years on pc and other consoles and arcade cabins ! So most of people here were babies at best !

Caso da Vanessa nesse jogo, é a mesma do Ralf no 2002 clássico, Kbcinha que elevou o nível do Ralf no jogo, antes do Kbcinha o boneco era considerado um lixo, precisou ele mostrar que dava pra jogar muito com Ralf, pro boneco passar a ter respeito. Com a Vanessa nesse jogo, é a mesma coisa, quem sabe jogar, mostra que a boneca é sim bem forte, mas quem quer saber jogar nesse KOF, quando se é mais fácil jogar na escrotidão com Kasumi e Hinako? Um dos motivos de eu ter parado de jogar KOF foi isso aí, é muito esmaga botão e pouca técnica.

Muito pelo contrário, ela tá muito boa ainda, mas pra jogar com ela tem que ser bom, no 2002 clássico qualquer retardado pressionava e dava sem 100% com ela sem dificuldade.
