This Yoruba regions are having problems in this our country Nigeria, this incident that happened to Oriyomi and co I think it happened in three places in Nigeria,it happened in Abuja in Northern states,Anambra in Eastern states nd heaven did not fall while in this Yoruba land, the federal government refuses to release this Innocent people my goodness, we need serious deliverance prayer for Yoruba land so that we can be delivered from this federal government.
Stop unnecessary blackmails and making uninformed statements. It is only bcos of the locality and the status of those involved that makes that of Ibadan to generate high interest. Go and make your findings, in every places where there was stampede, those who led the organisations were arrested and still detained. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested the parish priest and officials of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Abuja over their roles in a fatal stampede in the Nigerian capital. Police said they were investigating the stampede in Abuja as well as two others in Anambra and Oyo.
My brother let say it happens here in the U.S. and they find out Parents are throwing their Children above the fence, remember it was Parents that stepped on those Children and were killed. It is those Parents and the State Government that will be responsible. Let say there is somebody who can lead the crowd of one million people to the Governor's office and demands for their release, he will release them.
If it was in the USA, while they are investigating the incident, would they leave the organisers out of their investigations? If they arrest parents that threw their children, who would they hold responsible for the death of other children that were not thrown over the fence? Or is it only those thrown over the fence that died? "8 July 2024 The chief organiser of a religious gathering in northern India where 121 people were killed in a crush has surrendered to police, his lawyer says. On Thursday, police said they had arrested six people who were part of a group that organised the event in Hathras district". "12 February 2014 Ten people have been charged over the deaths of 21 people in a stampede at Germany's Love Parade music festival. The crush happened when hundreds of thousands of people tried to squeeze through a narrow tunnel that served as the only access to the grounds in 2010. Four staff of the music festival organiser Lopavent and six members of the administration in the western city of Duisburg have been charged. They are accused of negligent manslaughter and causing bodily harm. So you guys abroad should stop giving a wrong impression about how things are handled here compared with how they are handled abroad. And note that in the event in Germany, the organisers were charged 4 years after the event. That is to say the investigation even took 4 years before they were charged. You people should let the court do its job. Oriyomi and co have lawyers. The court would consider them on bail if their lawyers file a request.
It's a gang up against Oriyomi. No one was arrested in Abuja and Anambra, so why arresting only Oriyomi? I can only blame the government and the parents, the government put heavy poverty in the land and no responsible parents will expose little kids outside at an early hour of 4am just because of 5k for a program that was arranged to start by 10am.
This is the problem with some of you. You just make comments out of sentiments without making any efforts to find out facts. Who told you no one was arrested in the case of Abuja and Anambra? Bcos those involved in the case of Ibadan are celebrities, that is why the noise is high. If it was only the principal that was arrested, you people would not make so much noise. Look at your statement here. The only person you could mention is Oriyomi. Go and check it. In Abuja, a Catholic priest and some other persons who organized the events have been arrested. The IGP directed that all the 3 incidents should be investigated for negligence. So there is a possibility that people may have also been arrested in the case of Anambra. But the arrest at Abuja is confirmed.
@@ademolaadeleke2002 I've not seen any tv stations mentioned anything about the arrest in Abuja or Anambra. However, the Ibadan incident was ignorance from the parents. Only adults are called in Abuja and Anambra but in the case of Ibadan, children are called. The parents should have brought the kids in the morning because the event starts at 10am. So how will a responsible parent bring her kids at that early hour of 4am, that some children even slept in that environment because of 5k.
I had a good dream yesterday concerning them. Ayo lo ma jasi lagbara Olorun. E jeki a tesiwaju ninu adura wa. Sugbon mo tun ripe ooni pin ounje fun awon obi ti omo won ku. The way people are reacting about this issue is disappointing. It portrays most people as being ignorant of how the law works. Is it normal for people to just be left free without following due legal processes when things like this happens? So bcos the intentions of the organisers are good, then they should not be made to pass through the normal investigative and judicial process? Do people know that there is something called "manslaughter" as an offence in law? Manslaughter means "killing someone unintentionally". It is an offence. So this is not about sentiments. It is the court that is expected to decide on whether to release the accused or not (and that is only on bail for now). Their lawyers need to file for bail and argue it. It is ridiculous that people are expecting that people that have been arraigned in court and which court has adjourned the case would just be released by anybody before the next hearing in court. Why are we showing such ignorance?
Since their arrest occurred I said a few things 1. This would discourage people from doing good. 2. This shows that the law in Nigeria is unfair and unequal. 3. We yoruba's don't love ourselves.
On what basis is your claim that the law in Nigeria is unfair and unequal? The organisers of the stampedes in Abuja and Anambra have also been arrested and being investigated. The one in Abuja includes a Catholic priest. It is only that those involved in the organizing in Ibadans case are celebrities. Let the court do their jobs. Let their lawyers file application for bail. People are not just arraigned for criminal offense and when they get to court for the first hearing they are released on bail. It doesn't work that way.
How would you say Yoruba doesn't love themselves? Are you not a yoruba? Let us know your stand on their arrest? There is no tribe that love themselves like Yoruba, just go to Agodi prison yard and see how many people are coming daily to see then in the yard. What do you call that?
nigeria is a funny country...seem we deserve the bad leader we are getting...so you people think 35 children should just die and no one should be hold responsible.....with time they will release them ..but they will go to court ...this is not about governor or president ...ofin komo boya ore or no ore...those people that loose their children have you people visit their families...people in custody and people that have died which is worst ..go and get good lawyer for them ..stop calling on president or governor ,...and who told you they do not arrest in abuja?...,...35 children that died are not yoruba???
