- In Part 3 we enter one of the best stages of the project, Wall framing! always been my favorite part. well maybe not, i love it all! but the team did awesome with it on this one. Including setting windows with walls on the ground! Huge time saver and makes for a more controlled window set!
Smart guys, luckily there is no heavy rain before installing joists and subfloor linings.
my wife and I are considering adding a second story over our garage as well, and this is the closest video ive found thus far (minus saving the roof). 2 questions, 1) what's the final square footage of this build, and 2) what was roughly the final cost for the homeowner?
We added 1000’ SF to this house, I would expect the total cost to be close to 120k for them, at least out here in Colorado
The video I was looking for to get a perspective of whats going to be involved with our addition! Thank you gained a subscriber. 🤙

Next video! Can’t wait to see the finished product! Very impressive crew you got.
Is there a part 4? I really enjoy it!
That's what I've been looking for
Not going to lie you guys look like a crew that vibes together and get along well. With a good bond, work ethic, and quality work, you guys will be well off and go far. Keep it up.
pov i think is really good..... 😁
the exterior dried in gave me a laugh but i get it lol.
nice trick with the circ saw to cut blocking quick!
Installing windows that early is a terrible idea Ngl. So much can go wrong. Only takes one mistake to break a window
Same goes for any stage, no? None of them broke. Any day without something breaking, is that luck or does that just mean things are going properly? 🤔
@@Coffmanconstruction how did you center / plumb / square / shim your window while on the ground with access to only one side?
‘That black Zip tape you used looks a little yellow. :-)
Do you do work in San Antonio Texas
Subfloor glue?
you can see him going along at 0:15
Tytan foam glue or advantech
What bit for that cordless router?
I think it’s a 1/4 spiral flush cut trim but
@@Coffmanconstruction I tried that router two years ago but I might give it another go. Thanks.
@@kickyourfaceandlaugh607 this bit rips but it can be fragile, if you burn it up the bearings fall off
