- Minecraft Pocket Edition's touch controls are extremely difficult. However, in 1.19 Minecraft Bedrock added the new Crosshair and Classic controls. These new controls add Action buttons which act like a left click and a right click on mouse and keyboard. With this update, you can now Easily Jump Bridging on Mobile. This changes everything for the MCPE community, especially when it comes to competitive players. Today, I asked @JitR, a Pro Minecraft Mobile player, to teach me how to master the new PE controls.

That was a very well done video!
Few tips (as a mobile player myself)
1) Practice turning your screen to hit your opponent rather than moving side to side
2) Moving side to side and looking straight ahead while hitting is called crabbing, and isn’t very effective

I’m on mobile and I definitely would use the old controls the new ones are not very good but that’s probably because I’m just not used to them

insane vid! i used to play on mobile when i first started playing Minecraft, and if i got on mobile again these controls would make me rage. (i’ve played on mobile 2013-2020)

Good for u dude ive been playing mobile Minecraft for over 4 years now and i still havent learned to speed bridge
I started using these controls and my game play became so much smoother the one this I have to practice is bridging and I’ve always have been bad at bridging but the one thing I hate is how weird it is to jump and hit at the same time which is one of my main attacks but overall this is a god like control
Maybe i should try those buttons for a pvp or bedwars fight
It's a good update it helps me use 3d gun mods more easier but we have to say goodbye to shader graphics mods.

It's easy to control and legend at pvp when I use that new controls
Personally I like to use my left thumb for the joystick and my right thumb for all the action buttons, my pointy finger for moving the camera. My fingers hurt if I play like you lol.

use index left for thumb and left thumb for hotbar
right index for hitting and placing blocks and right thumb for aiming while right middle for jump
Technically if u off split control on mobile and u jump, if ur aim is good then u can jump bridge but it needs like 4 months of practice

Nice video! As a mobile player however I was wondering, how do you activate new controls?
U can download a pack or you can go at quick edit and do some things at files
Do not download the texture pack cuz once u activate it u can't deactivate the new controls the best way is to edit the option.txt file in your com.mojang and minecraftpe file
U just have to edit the 0 to 1 of the new controls u can also watch on yt

My grip is stupid middle finger for joystick thumb for attack and left thumb for placing
since they added new mobile controls why didn't they add a shield button instead of forcing the player to crouch to block with the shield makes no sense to me
