I was working at LAS at the time. Can't believe how much things have changed in 20 years.

It is nice seeing the old 727-200s, DC-10s and L1011s from the early 2000s. My airline had the DC-10s and 727-200s. And I have begun to miss the 747-400s from their recent retirement of them now. Thanks.
Loved seeing that National Airliner
Loud engines, a melody to my ears!
Woooow❤❤❤❤❤ that L1011 sounds amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Damn man!! Seems like so long ago. So different. Cool to see the DC-10 Hawaiian.
The American West A320 at 16:47 is the A320 they used for the Sully movie.
So loved watching this amazing video thanku so much love an god bless x
Whenever I see a beautiful 757, I fall in love all over again!!!!❤
Miss old days when we used to have more planes, rip dc9, dc10, l1011, md11, tu154, il96, b727, f50
Too sad b747, b757 and a340 are getting retired nowadays
I drove limos out of McCarran during this time and used to watch the action every day. Concorde was a special treat. A great place to sit was the road directly south of the airport, I recall it was either sunset Blvd, or Russell road? Prior to Mandalay being built you could park right at the end of the runway on LV boulevard. Great viewing.
What a great airline National was, a pity it didn't last long.
It was sunset, just east of where you parked was EG&G. Right off the runway we setup a 'tracker'. It had a powerful telescope on it and i watched the Concorde land and take off from MeCarren. This brought back some memories of better times.
Oddly enough, Sun Country still FLIES today!
A lot of passenger DC10’s here. Most of them would be gone in just a couple years.

they used to have ATA maintenance at IND, used to sit at viewing park and watch engine tests. awesome
I started working at LAS in 2003 @Swissport. Worked the OAI DC-10s, Champion 727s, Alaska MD-80s and 737s. We had up to 11 contracts at one time, including Virgin Atlantic, BMI, Singapore (briefly because of SARS), Mexicana, AeroMexico, ATA, AirTran, Frontier, World (not regular schedule). They added and removed a few more, here and there. It made for a varied daily schedule. Swissport had its ups and downs: good workers, shit upper management.
@@philiproseel3506 That's Good. Vegas is not very nice, and its way too hot for 4 months each year.
@@philiproseel3506 Vegas was OK in the 90s but around 2004 it started to change drastically..
@@patr70 I can't say I ever really liked it. I endured. Lots of good friends and co-workers but yeah, way too hot.
Such great airplanes & liveries! Nowadays it all seems so ho-hum. Two engines, bland schemes, etc. etc.
It’s neat to see these different kinds of planes.
Look at the size of those small engines!! Compared to today.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Like the Hawaiian on 0:31
