Wait this actually seems so interesting to play with Miner Control. If you time it right, you're always deploying a +1 Level Miner so it's kinda like a pseudo-buff right? It's more gimmicky rather than being effective or broken at first glance BUT IF YOU TIME IT RIGHT, you're basically giving your WIN CONDITIONS a chance to level up and deal more damage. I could see this synergizing very well with Beatdown Tanks (Lava Hound, Giant, GobGiant, E-Giant) or more aggressive Win Conditions (Hog Rider, Miner, Royal Giant)

Theoretically,it is possible to have basically a super mini P.E.K.K.A in the clash royale arena but only with way less damge and no healing.(Either way the 99,999 damge the super mini P.E.K.K.A does at lvl 9 is a novelty number.)

And the few (somewhat meta ones) which do run tomstone, goblin cage, or very occasionally barb hut, which are all spawners and would have the pancake wasted on the cage brawler or a random skeleton or barbarian.
Yeah they'll probably run tornado instead of a building for the same thing. But the decks that would want to run tornado with chef would run tornado regardless so I doubt that deckbuilding for beatdown changes that much

The princess tower is the baseline The cannoneer is strong against one single target but weak against swarms And the dagger duchess is strong against small push letting you save elixir but weak against big push I guest it meant to be used in agresive decks but why give level Why not rage or heal Pancake already heal on super mini pekka challenge so why not here I cannot see a scenario where this card isnt nerfed to death unless they change the leveling mechanic Also the fact that not many interaction change means this card is basically a better princess tower
its good using beatdown, bad for usijg cycle decks, also interactions do change as long as they arent just linear "i place this card at the bridge" they change with damage delt to them by troops aswell
It attacks slower, it's worse Interactions against one card might not change ( like bats ) but it's still worse during a matchup overall. It also has less HP The level also comes between 15~25 seconds, so it's not that broken They might make it a bit worse on stats, but I don't think they are going to "nerf it to death". It's not broken as duchess was

However, we already are in a miserable beatdown meta and while weaker beatdown decks like E giant and golem will get a nice boost, I will cry if I have to play one more match against Pekka Goblinstein Goblin Giant/Ramrider. The decks I'd be really interested in trying him in would be Pekka Bridge Spam and Royal Giant. With Bridge spam you have a lot of single, pretty high value units that apreciate the levels. Mainly Battle Ram and Pekka, but ghost and bandit also could be nice. With Rg your main target should be, well rg, but depending on the version buffing monk/ghost/fisherr also could be nice. However, I do predict him to overthrow DD in midladder, since the average midladder menace can't resist a sigma level Mega-Knight.
Tbh it would be better if it healed the troops or itself in some amount instead of leveling them up. I know there's already heal spirit (formerly the heal spell RIP) for this, but a troop leveling up out of nowhere in the middle of a match is WAY too much advantage. Mirror already is used to spawn a lot of level 16 cards, we don't need stuff like this.
