I bought one immediately after my test ride about 3 months ago and I'm still loving it. They had three colors available, and I chose black. And yes, the brake light illuminates with the regenerative braking. It's also worth mentioning that in the Rain Mode, there is no regenerative braking, so when you let off the throttle, you'll coast, much like a bike with an engine and the clutch pulled back, and the brake light only illuminates when you use the brakes. You mentioned charging this at the office or home, but didn't mention the fact that under the seat (unlock the seat with the key) is a charging cable you can plug into a standard household outlet. Granted it is a much slower charge than the charger at the Harley Davidson stores, but it works wonderfully. I usually ride in Eco Mode and it is still blazing fast. I've only gone intro Sport Mode once, which is the Mode you can command Zero to Sixty in 2.8 to 3.0 seconds.

Need to do alot of saving for the bike and also full category A license but once I got that sorted definitely want a demo ride in the future I hope there'll be accessories for the live wire one

You make an excellent point about break, regeneration, and whether it should merit a stoplight.

That looks like such an interesting bike! Would you recommend it for someone who is looking for their first motorcycle?

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it as a first bike. Between the weight and the acceleration, I’d really only recommend it to someone with some experience on something else first.

I have an electric Nissan Leaf. I wondered the same thing about the brake lights. Turns out that the brake light is on when decelerating or stopped.

I did a little digging after my test ride and did find that the brake light does indeed come on when decelerating with the regen braking.
