It’s universal (: I promise it takes 2 seconds to learn the notation. X is 1, Y is 2, A is 3 and B is 4
We use the notation because the numbers match the exact same button locations on PlayStation & Xbox. For PS - Square-1, Triangle - 2, X - 3, and Circle is 4.
Left button, top button, bottom button, right button in order by number!

@@lilcheatkev8989 Learning these universal notations in fighting games is important. It helps me to visualize/imagine the numbers on the buttons instead of the letters.

@@killah6640fan is the khameleon cameo move and amp means amplify(when you press your trigger while doing a special move)
When you do the grounded dash launcher. You can hold forward as you do it and Homelander will move closer to the opponent so you’ll always be in range for a 1 2 to connect
This is so important. I was dropping so many things and being blown away by the combos others were doing and trying to do them and then getting fucked by gravity. This is SO SO important.

He seems like the amount of difficulty required to play isn’t worth the damage but I could be wrong. I feel like some characters do a lot better with a lot less effort

How do you input the back down forward 4 input do you use the joy stick or d pad
I treat it like a command grab, and i always input command grabs with the joystick, so i just quickly move my thumb and do a half circle and then switch back during the animation and start mashing dash for the S4

i think i go back to mk 11 until the devs fix this game, that i do like or want to like...the inputs are to fast, and setting controller to long or short input does not help, u must still follow the game frame to hit in a combo string.. MK11 was much more easy to learn. here it can be hard to the most simple input vs all other Fighting games. I play Stf6. teken 8, mk 11 (my fav) now mk 1 and it feels to wierd and the updates are even worse.

If you hold forward while doing dash 1 it will make you fly forward a bit. It makes it easier to finish combos in the air

I’ve got some good 45% combos with Janet and I feel like her stance could have huge long term potential
A tip to circumvent the timing wise is that you can hold down forward after you hit the one button from the dash to move homelander forward a little bit I actually learned that in the combo trials and if you actually hold forward after pressing two the grab you’ll literally carry the opponent all the way to the corner while the animation is going it’s a glitch but it’s basically like a automatic put opponent in corner

Honestly personally I play Geras so I’m kind of a fan of characters that you can kind of freestyle the combos with but Homelander seems pretty frustrating and difficult to learn.

His damage is mid I would say. Not really shit since he can very easily do 41% after all, but he isn't the kost damaging character in the game let's just say.
There is a combo that i think is the optimal where you get 390 for no bar no cameo but its starts with b4 and if you do it without i think you get 348-ish and you almost did it at your first combo that you showed you just have to replace the first and second string with b22 on the first combo that you showed at 4:50 . Also idk if it is because i play lots of fighting games, but i dont find him hard to play, I had a bit more trouble doing ermac optimals than with homelander. And his game plan is simple. Also i think that when you do a string that fly into 1 doesnt connect you can do fly into 4 and it connects then into the dash thing but i dont remember. So yea, cool vid as always

I don't own the game, and I am terrible at fighter games but I am here to say.... Drop to the tutorial vid and I will watch.
Also if you hold forward during the grounded dash 1 you'll move forward enough to connect after without whiffing,along with that you can also do air 2 1 which has a farther range,no delaying needed❤
Also you can combo into b22 fly 1 after b4 idk why you think it doesnt, maybe they changed it but i dont think so

I think movado might be pretty damn good with as well, you time the throw properly you get like a 240 throw meterless
You also can use his unamplified anti air laser and movado up kameo to get like a 300 plus combo off of, and and his bf 3 amplify you can combo full screen with the same move around the same damage

While homelander is the best new dlc character peacemaker it's still a hard counter
Just a note here: If you land a J4 as homelander you can get another one and cancel it into dash 1

Homelander is glitch so the combo you showed is a one bar combo he is super buged rn with his BF 4 cancel while moving and his meter does not drain after consecutive floats in combos tbh he is kinda a buggy mess

He’s op right now but he’s bugged. It’s supposed to take a bar to use flight more than once in a combo. I think he’s strong but I feel like he’ll get the Ermac treatment after they fix the bug.
Homelander’s face just looks so weird to me. It’s odd because Omni-Man looks great and so do a lot of the other characters but there’s just something odd about Homelanders face, on top of him already being broke.
What do you expect? This is what you get when you have a company like NRS. A company whose staff is pretty much 95% DEI hires.

Homelander my goat is obviously taken straight out of the show aka Antony Starr. i'm sure they went the cheap route because they're broke but still. Omni man should easily be the easier one to transfer to a game

NRS is just done. I’m over it and that’s fine anyways because I have sf6 and T8 to play. NRS’ system mechanics don’t even make sense. Why tf do they still have a stance switch button? Can someone please explain that to me?
