Didn't Seb Vettel prove that it's possible to run carbon neutral fuels in proper high performance engines. Why are we still doing these electric motors?

It's a choice made by the promoter and if you take a closer look at electric cars, you'll see that they perform better than euro rx fuel cars

@@petterracing there's no doubting the numbers. But it's marginal and that tiny gain isn't worth the loss of sound.
Thinking back, my earliest memory of Motorsport was when my dad took me to a rally in the forest at night when I was about 5/6 years old. In the pitch dark I remember my first experience wasn't seeing the cars. It was hearing these absolute monsters echoing in the trees from kilometers away as they sped towards us. Those screaming engines and back fires will stay with me forever. And I absolutely cherish those moments. I just feel we could potentially be robbed of those types of experiences if this trend continues.
