I was literally about to pull the trigger on getting one from Technology Outlet, saw your video just before I did, thanks for the heads up on the 10% discount!!
Unarguably the top priority on everybody's list: needs to look cool! Glad that you got that covered right away. No need to finish watching the video.
Had mine a few days and absolutely love it! Perfect first layer every time and my PETG prints come out perfectly.
Got mine a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it. Prints tpu perfectly
Hi, which retraction are you using? I’m trying with 0,8/45. It seems to be fine. But I’m still getting some line issue even when I did the adjustments on x,y and z 😢 any advice?
Excellent report. Thanks you
Well I have had this printer for around 4 days now, after trying to level the bed around 100 times, I updated the firmware and screen, Still having issues, I really don't think Auto level is working on this printer, and I saw a couple posts here and there saying the same thing. I mean you are manually leveling it like a ender 3, then you use auto level to make sure everything is perfect, and use the Z offset at the end to make sure its good, Well its not saving to Eprom im sure of it. since after 100 times and trying to do a print test to see if my bed is level its not, I have to play with the Zoffset while its printing to get anything to stick, Vase mode works 150% and looks really good, but then again no retraction and so on while printing vase mode, So no issues there, when trying to print something with supports, well its a no go, supports look like crap and fail and in the end the print fails, Worst printer I have ever had and I had a couple over the years.
hi, can i ask what slicering program you are using?
@@BeaniesHobbies Cura 4.12, Cura 5 beta, Creatlity slicer and Prusa slicer all doing the same thing
@@MrRuber249 when you are levelling the bed do you have the sd card inserted
@@BeaniesHobbies I think my CR touch is screwed up, When I do auto level, when it goes home, It goes down once, doesn't click, then down a second time and clicks, when it does all the points it does down, doesn't click but light turns red, is that normal? I have a BL touch on my other machine, So can't compare
@@MrRuber249 sounds like your cr touch probe maybe faulty, unplug it from both ends and reconnect it and make sure all the little wires are plugged in correctly and haven't come loose out of the little white plugs
Did you ever printed with ABS? I've been printing with CR-10 Smart with Micro Swiss hotend with amazing results. Recently I bought a CR-10 Smart PRO thinking that it will bring even better results but I got disappointed. The printings look like it was melting, I've made loads of tests with no improvements. Maybe it can be due to bad quality of brazilian filaments.
Have you had issues with stringing? I love this printer but I get horrible stringing and I have no clue how to solve it. I can't tell if I should be changing my travel settings or if it's a physical issue. I've been mainly printing temp towers and no matter what I do I have terrible stringing.
No Ugly Ender marking
No Halfass Dragon Head
Yeah!
So both Ender 3 S1 Pro and CR10 Smart Pro has exactly the same extruder, same CR touch and the same PEI plate and same printing capabilities... We are only paying more for CR 10 smart pro for the bigger printing area... Right?
few extra bits like the camera it comes with, bigger build plate, support rods and a differnt touch screen lol
@@BeaniesHobbies and the inbuilt wifi... But Do i need all of that.. No.. Maybe just the build area... But spending another $200 plus just for print area is not worth the money... I've concluded that Ender 3 S1 Pro is a perfect choice for the first time buyer.. CR10 Smart Pro is a perfect choice for anyone who is looking for an upgrade... Especially the large build plate
@@bbnlabs good choice, I will be getting one when they release in about a weeks time
@@bbnlabs than buy the new S1 Plus.
It is a S1 extruder (300°C Extruder is usless), but with Pro display and with CR10 size.
i would like to see what you think of it now is it good bad any recomdations for new users
I love it and I've still got it so that says something about it, if you new user I would recommend creality slicer for slicing your prints
Hey Beanie, is this extruder the exactly the one in the Ender 3 S1 Pro? I was reading specs.. It says some chromium copper nozzle but the S1 Pro has Brass nozzle.. However, they are both all metal extruder that goes upto 300C
hi yes they are both the same extruder, the smart pro ships with a brass nozzle in it but has the chromium one as a spare
@@BeaniesHobbies oh... That's great...
Hi, I am curious how you set up your printer. I am having trouble setting up my cr10 smart pro. It seems that the first layer doesn’t stick to the base. Do you have any suggestions? Thank youuuu
Hi, you will need to adjust your z offset, when you are printing touch the screen to get into the settings then you can lower your z offset from there
@@BeaniesHobbies thanks Beanie. What value shoud I use for offset. I have set it at -2.61 now
Hey :)
I’ve got the same printer and I’m wondering what kind of settings you used on the slicer? Also what slicer did you use for these projects. I cannot find any information online of how to set up cura or simplify 3D. I hope you could be able to help me out with this. Thanks!
Hi, I'm currently using creality slicer which is just a re skin of cura but it works really well with all the creality printers, I'm running the basic settings that they provide at the moment and I'm getting some really good results with it, head to www.creality.com go to support then downloads and check out software and download the lastest version of it
Hey ;) I solved the problem. Thanks.
But now I’m struggling with the bed leveling. I’ve tried to level it countless times and still I cannot get a decent first layer. I always have to change the height on the corners manually before any print test. Seems like there’s something I still do not do correctly while manually leveling before going ahead with the auto leveling. I don’t know what to do :/
@@danielamorteguihenao4208 hi, heat the bed and nozzle first, go to levelling then manual levelling, use some paper on the 4 corners to get the bed roughly level, then go to auto levelling and level the bed then finally remember to adjust the z offset using a piece of paper as well
That’s exactly what I’m doing. But still I have problems while printing after have leveled the bed both manually and automatically. But you also said something about adjusting the z offset. How can adjust this value? Do I have to change the z value up or down while printing or is the z offset something different? Thanks 😊
@@danielamorteguihenao4208 you can adjust the z offset while printing, you don't want to adjust the bed levelling wheels as that will throw the whole bed level out
what is better bambu P1P or this?
the bambu p1p is amazing, mine arrived yesterday its an absolute beast
I got mine a few days ago, I love the prints, only I am concerned about the first layer. The brim on the test prints seems so curl up on the edges and even at some points get stuck on the fan. I raise it a little and that kind of worked but than I am worried it is to far away. I will I need glue?
hi, have you levelled the bed manually as well as auto levelled it? if its curling up then the nozzle is to low down, you dont need glue on those beds
is the magnetic sheet textured, or just smooth? also, how do these run with different size nozzles? looking to use a 0.6 or 0.8... and what filament run best on it? Thanks!
hi, the build plate it textured on these printers, you can buy different nozzles, ive always used .4 as it seems to get the best results. filament wise i like the brand eryone
will they ship to the us?
Can you help me with your sitting in cura? I am so sad I bought this printer as my first time but I didn’t get the quality that I saw with others, can you help me? (:
Hi, download creality slicer from www.creality.com as it works alot better with the cr10 smart pro
@@BeaniesHobbies I already downloaded it but, the default settings it’s doesn’t work with me 😔
@@rhnhh2009 can you tell me what sort of issues you are having?
@@BeaniesHobbies I was trying to print the benchy but I didn't get the results that I expected there are gaps and a little bit of shifting not because the printer, As I said I saw a lot of models with you and other they print perfectly with the same printer , also I try to print the famous dragon, but i faced the same problems twice, maybe at the last 10 layers there are shifting in the print so the model fail.
@@BeaniesHobbies also the problem not from the bed, I think its 1 mm exactly in both corner and also after manual levelling I use auto levelling.
Between the Cr-6 Max and the Cr-10 Smart Pro which one would you suggest?
Hi, all depends if you need a really big build plate for anything if not the cr10 smart pro is a really good printer, they both are but all depends if you plan on printing really big
What do you think about the fans they have thrown in this quite expensive printer?
i find them to be of good quailty and very quite in fact
@@BeaniesHobbies Maybe of good quality, but quiet? The printer itself is awesome, but the fan noise I do not like.
It's a great printer, lots of good idea, like the PEI plate is so easy to put off-on, no cable mess, easy to use and install, quite big.
but they really need to improve the software, the screen reaction is horrible, you can't pause at height and resume, often Creality cloud will tell me I don't have an SD inserted even if I do.
thanks for the 10% code saved 67 pounds
Your welcome
What printer profile should I use from cura cr10 or cr10s ? Please help
Download creality slicer from creality.com, works alot better plus all profiles are pre set
S1 plus or Cr-10 smart you think?
