I've seen tires disentegrate on trailers.
The visual thought of an animal leg dragging on the highway from a hole in the floor is a new and worse concern. WOW!

Good move going to the brake and bearing shop. Bearings will be a routine maintenance item that you want to be vigilant about. Good bumper music btw.

Nice! I had to replace wheels on the stock trailer I bought because they were illegal clamshell style, but it was a great deal so I wasn’t bothered by that. Enjoy your new trailer. And we look forward to seeing more work on the airstream!
