Though there are several reasons to choose #jorgemartin Marc Marquez, or #eneabastianini to start alongside current MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia in the upcoming season, only one could be picked.
Of all the manufacturers, #ducati has the hardest decision to make. Although Martin would seem to be the favorite based on his performance, the desire to position someone like #marquez has complicated Ducati's thinking.

Maybe, it looked as if Martin knows that someone else was picked for the seat, by his comments at the post race press conference.
Marquez said that he need latest bike. Pramac use the same spec bike as factory Ducati. So I'm thinking Martin will join factory, and Marc can go to Pramac. I honestly hope this will be the case. Martin has proven himself more than worthy to be in the factory team.
Let’s be honest here, Marquez is 5 races in Ducati and he has already adapted and is fast on a year old bike

@@paulmolles4445 If you can't come to a conclusion from this, either you are purely hating, or you are afraid of what will happen. The man is third in the standings, 2 points from second after only five races with a new bike, and by the look of it, he will be in the factory team next year. At least Dall'igna and Martin's last interviews suggest that.

Long term, Ducati will be better off with Martin.
Yeah long term but for history and Name Marc Marquez have it all...He second behind Rossi...Imagine if he won another two championship...If he achieve that imagine sponsorship and social media would raise once more for Ducati

Marc love to crash but ngl he is a beast. Will always give u a tough time. And since he’s known for being aggressive he makes other riders have the fear of maybe he will take me out too if he crash. That alone is intimidating to race him💀

Seriously… this Martin guy can’t deal with popularity! He’s doesn’t wait for recognition from others… he just knows to brag about himself!! And he never won a Moto GP world championship…. Imagine if he does!! Arrogance on its best!!
Of course, anything is possible, and it's a long season. It's probably unfortunate from Ducati's point of view that they have been pressured into making this decision early, because it affects so many other riders and team decisions. Many reasons why waiting a little longer would be preferable for them. The factory Ducati team also have to bear in mind what Bagnaia wants, being their established two-times champion, and you get the feeling he doesn't really want Marc or Jorge in his garage, and would prefer to stick with Bastianini, although he is being careful about expressing anything along that line.
But above all Ducati want to keep on winning, and Jorge and Marc appear to offer the greatest chance for success on the face of it. But they also need to look after Pecco, given his loyalty, and the success he has brought them. Tricky. Personality issues between the very different Pecco and Jorge could surface, the energy drink quandary that comes with Marc would be complicated, with his alliance with Red Bull, and Ducati's with Monster. And Marc won't come cheap. There is also the other possibility that Pramac could go with another maker (Yamaha?), which tightens things for the factory's offer to Aldegeur.
Then there is the Italian/Spanish thing, and the fact that Bastianini has been so fast at times, and that he lost a season whilst injured through no fault of his own. Poor old Tardozzi and Dall'Igna will earn their big $$ making this decision. Unfortunate that the purveyors of film clips like this continue to misrepresent the facts in the need for an attention-grabbing headline. Marc has not "joined Bagnaia in 2025". Not yet anyway, and there are reasons against it..

Ducati is gonna have all the three of them. Martin and bagnaia in official and marq will have the last version same like them but in another team
My hope is that Ducati makes the wrong decision and chooses Marc and then Jorge is so mad that he goes to Aprilia.
I think that would be perfect, Aprilia gets a really good rider and Marc gets his Ducati factory that he wants everyone’s happy

Marc usually rides far ahead of his teammates so that they very rarely get a chance to crash. Just look how he is outracing pecco in GP23, and think about the outcome when they have equal machines.

Problems start when 2 riders are on same level. Rossi had no problems with Collin Edwards because he was faster than Edwards. But he had problems with Lorenzo because Lorenzo was fast as Rossi. Marc never had problems with his team mates because he dominated all of them..
Why did Marc Marquez join Ducati Lenovo? even though Marc on Ducati can't and always fails to win. The one who is worthy of the Ducati Lenovo is Jorge Martin who often wins
He wins because he has the better bike. Sergio Perez finished as vize-champion in 2022 and 2023. You thinl Perez is 2nd best driver in F1? No, he is not, he is not better than Leclerq,Hamilton, Alonso, Russell... Same with Martin, Martin has GP24 and Marc GP23.
You can see threatened martin and pecco feel when this guy is able to cut 2 second gaps in 2 laps and recover 11 positions on a year old bike
