I picked up this kit at the weekend, because Hobbycraft offered Airfix kits 3 for 2 (cheapest one free). I'm looking forward to your build and building mine.
Cpt VFC, you silly boy brushing that cobweb off the Gladiator. Find the spider who made it, and train him, or her, in rigging your model. Simple! (and I am.)
@VFCproductions howdy Lee....i missed out on that one but im sure i could cobble enough decals to do it from my decal spares sets. ....i have more than enough spare Irish Air Corps roundels, both early 2 colour and current tri colour variants.👍👍
I like the scheme A, I did some reading about the Norwegian Air Force during the German invasion. IIRC they had only seven fighters in total, one of which was this kit scheme. Truly heroic resistance, that's why I will build the Norwegian scheme at some point, and also Finnish and Swedish versions.
@kennethjames9416 I feel that value can really only be ascertained by comparing with other kits. Revell and Heller Gladiators (2nd hand of course) usually sell for £10+ at the moment and they are much older tools. Is this 20% better than them? Unfortunately there isn't much (new) out there for under a tenner so I'm happy to spend £12 on something like this.

I built the old plastic bag one where the hull 2 halves included the pilot.. back in the day
I hope it's still good. With just a little extra work the ancient Matchbox/Revell Gladiator looks quite passable.
The Gloster Gladi-moth - no excusing you building it.

Why not have fun with the schemes and do it half and half. One half scheme A and the other B.
@Adam_Boots that would certainly be eye-catching, although I'm more likely to just buy another one altogether
If it came with an option for an aircraft from the Irish Air Corps i would be all over it
@Damien-u2x this release doesn't, but an earlier release of the Gladiator did

Nice kit but not worth £12 though.
