You can use a speed feed head's on your Stihl if you still have the Echo 225 you can just take the whole head off with the spool and put on the stihl

I switched out all my stihl line trimmers to a speed feed 400 trimmer head. One of the best things I ever did! I modified the attachment point to include a metal flat washer and a rubber gasket to form a solid seal so it doesn't make that slipping and whinning noise

You can feed the string to both sides at same time with a loop and cut loop in middle!! A lot easier and even amount to both sides. great vid!!

Watching you load your trimmer reminds me why I use speed feed heads.

Speed feed head from echo is the bee's knees me boy. It loads with out having to taking anything apart. It does require replacing the "bump cover" and inside spool maybe once or twice per season depending how much use it gets. It will ad a little weight, but I don't that it helps your control. I like to carry a Spare length of string in my pocket so you can replace it on the fly in the field without having to go to the truck.

its funny when u look at old timers ways an go dam why didnt i think of that. another useful tip is spray paint your chemicals different colors so you know safe for lawn or kills everything. do everything you can think of to be more efficient it pays off.

I AM Prior Service USMC and US Army, and, outside of The United States Military,I never thought that I would like any Civilian Work, but, here in Tucson, Arizona, I work for Santa Rita Landscaping LLC, and, although I AM in Commercial Division, I have done CR( Custom Residential), Builders, and Maintenance. I can use a little bit more time and training on Machine Operations and Plant Identification, but, I AM getting better.

you should never tie down that vride by the control bar up there. good bump if that strap was actually tight and youd snap it right off.

Is that literally how u strap down your mowers?? 2 straps latched from the mower to the front bar of the trailer? Here in Long Island our laws are so strict we practically gotta bolt out mowers down. 2-3 straps per piece of equipment.
