Days. DAYS of googleing, forums, reading manuals, translating manuals, contemplating selling my (from Japan) LCW-M100TS. Last video I thought I'd try before listing the thing. Man, you sir showed me what no one else could. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Wow. Thank you for this video! I searched the operation manual and couldn't find this info and was sooooo frustrated. Plus it is much easier doing it from the video. Very well done and easy to understand! 👍
My Waveceptor has sat on my window ledge for about a year now, I was thinking it would sort itself out but no. I just followed your instructions and BINGO :-) Thumbs up, subscribed.
Had my watch for years. It found itself in the washing machine and since then has been displaying the wrong time. I thought i was going to have to replace it. But with your help it is fine again. Did not know this was even a fixable issue. Thank you so much. Happy to have my watch back 😊
so far I have not needed to do any adjustments on my Casio Lineage, other than setting the DST once a year- but I will keep this as a reference video in case my Casio analog hands go rogue and don't match the digital time display. thank you for this info.
Fantastic!...thanks for posting this, I couldn't find out how to sync the hands and the digital display..... I was about to send the watch back to the sellers, as I thought it was a faulty watch. Many thanks!!
Thank you very much, I woke up after the thunderstorm today and noticed that the second hand on my Lineage was 12 seconds behind the digital time, after watching your video I managed to fix that
Great video! The hands on my old, beat up (but still going strong) wave ceptor moved 5 hours ahead of the actual clock for some unknown reason and the instructions in this video were easy to follow and fixed the problem! Thank you!
Thanks, it's clearer than the Casio guide, but the presenter didn't seem to mention that the button to change from seconds to minutes has to be held pressed until +0.00 is displayed.
Love it man I had this problem for really long time and I could not find the way to fix and even come to the point to open the watch and fix it physically hahaha
Thank you, Sir! This particular WaveCeptor is my personal favorite. It seems to be the EXACT RIGHT AMOUNT of technology to serve my needs and NEVER leaves me second-guessing my own punctuality. Cheers! SIXSTRINGSPACEBOY
Thank you! I have used the manual in the past, but it's really difficult to understand, and you've done a great job in making this process simple - thank you!
Excellent, had tried numerous times to correct analog to digital by following the instructions in the manual, but no success, this made it so easy. Thks
Thanks for the helpful video! Helped set my lineage back to proper alignment… Any reason why the misalignment happens? Makes me concerned about the overall build quality. Mine was off by a huge chunk on both the minute and second hand
Thanks for posting this!! It worhs great, but lately I have had problems .. It seems that, at least with my Lineage, it doesn't stay locked to the right time; Ihe hands are right just after you set them, but they slowly drift from their settings. I have found that you can fix this problem by letting the watch hack with WWV or whatever standard you use. Being in New England, that means I have to wait overnight but come morning, it's all better.
You're welcome Ray. Yeah, depending on how far you are from the transmitter and the time of year, reception can be spotty. I know I have to leave my watches in the right spot and the right direction overnight or they don't sync up.
Muchísimas gracias, le escribo desde Albacete (España). Es el único video que realmente me ayudo para a poner en hora las agujas del reloj. Mil gracias.
How do you adjust just the hour hand only? I know how to adjust the minute hand and I thought the hour hand was supposed to move correctly but the hour hand is out of alignment. Please help
If you Google "Casio 5174 hand alignment" there's a PDF of the instructions book that includes how to manually align the hands. Unfortunately I don't have a watch so I can't make a video on it!
Hi, I have a brand new Wave Ceptor Lineage and the Seconds hand if off by a few second from the Seconds on the digital display. The Minutes and Hours hands are in perfect sync with the digital Minutes and the Hours display, it's only the Seconds hand which is slightly out of sync. How do I fix it? THANKS!
My videos aren't monetized, so if you found this video helpful and would like to buy me a cookie or coffee, I'd greatly appreciate it! ko-fi.com/grmlab
What a piece of junk. My brand new casio hands point at 12:16. Second hand goes around every minute but it's still 12:16. Followed this video repeatedly but after adjusting second hand, the next field is +0.00. The next field is -0.00. Then back to second hand. 8 O'clock button advances fields. 2 o'clock button exits set up. This watch is trash.

You're very welcome.
off topic question: is fixing indices on M170 a pain? Looks like the indices on M170 is glue to the chapter ring unlike M100 is on the dial.
OK, I used your alignment procedure here and I was able to adjust just the Seconds hand and now ALL the hands are in perfect sync, Thanks!
Glad to hear it worked for you
Thank you very much, I woke up after the thunderstorm today and noticed that the second hand on my Lineage was 12 seconds behind the digital time, after watching your video I managed to fix that
Nice work! Great to hear!

Couldn't agree more! It's just complicated enough, without veering into smart watch territory.
Please make a video on the specifications and technical review of both watches. Many Thanks & Best Regards.
That's a great idea!
This happened twice to my waveceptor. I followed this and it worked. Thanks!
Awesome!
THANK YOU!!
My minutes were off by 1 min which was driving me crazy!
Oh yeah that would be annoying. You're welcome!
Thank you! I have used the manual in the past, but it's really difficult to understand, and you've done a great job in making this process simple - thank you!
Thank you for the kind words, James. I'm glad I was able to help.
This was so helpful. Thanks a lot

I've only had a problem once and it's been fine since then. The build quality seems fine overall. Finger's crossed.
Great useful video... How did you learn how to do this?
It's buried in the instruction booklet that comes with the watch.
Thanks for posting this!!

Mil gracias.
De nada. Me alegro de haberte podido ayudar.
If the Wave Ceptor had a rotating bezel, it would be a perfect watch in my opinion. I would buy like 10 of them.
Terrific thankyou ....information in indeed key .However visual correction is invaluable .Thankyou
Definitely agree. It's one thing to read instructions. It's so much better to watch it in a video.
Thank you! Made my day.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great post and easy to follow.
Excellent -- a real public service. Thanks. (I just hope I never have to do the procedure!)
Thank you, Jon.
Thanks, fixed it!🎉

You've very welcome Mark
What did happen to your 12 hour applied marking, pal? 😢
RIP it was loose and floating around when I bought it. I have it stored away until I can repair it.
Thank you very much, in Spanish there is no video that talks about this watch but I could understand how to do it
You're welcome Miguel. I'm glad I was able to help!
I used this but what about the hour hand? I can't get it right.
Finally it is accurate again!!’n
XII particles dropped into the digital segment I guess.
It's a pity it's not possible to adjust the second hand within fractions of a second so the hand hits the markers exactly.
brilliant, just did my Lineage so simply with this, got stuck with the casio book...
Glad that it helped you.
Great, drove me insane.
How do you adjust just the hour hand only? I know how to adjust the minute hand and I thought the hour hand was supposed to move correctly but the hour hand is out of alignment. Please help
No idea if that's possible. Did you try the instructions in the video?
perfect, thank you
You're welcome!

Great to hear! You're welcome!
how to fix my watch casio wvq-m410 (5174) 2nd hand is out of sync by 6 minuts
If you Google "Casio 5174 hand alignment" there's a PDF of the instructions book that includes how to manually align the hands. Unfortunately I don't have a watch so I can't make a video on it!
Thank You!
You're welcome!
thanks a lot~
You're welcome!
what we really want to know is, what happened to the roman numerals at 12 o'clock?
Good question. It was loose when I bought it and caused the hands to jam up. I have it stored away until the time comes to repair it.
Sorry can't get past the adjust seconds, will not move from there

Did you try what was in the video? That should let you set the 12:00 position for the seconds hand.
My videos aren't monetized, so if you found this video helpful and would like to buy me a cookie or coffee, I'd greatly appreciate it!
