    This Hopia recipe is perfect..I use a stand mixer for Dough 1 & Dough 2 and it came out perfect, no messy hands. I didn't chill the dough. I followed the the dough instructions without chilling it for 10 to 15 mins as instructed. I went straight and made my Hopia with store bought Ube Halaya. Wow, it came out perfect. My wife tried after she got home from work and she was surprised when I said I made it.. Thank you..you have a new fan...

    I have been watching other video for hopia making, but yours is the best, very well explain and the technique on how to look like a original hopia by shaping it in cokie cutter. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    I love hopia and I had the recipe for years now but never attempted to actually make it. That is because I was so intimidated that I'd screw it up and I really thought it's difficult to make. I'm so glad I saw your video. Thank you for the easy step by step instruction.

    Hopia is my favorite snacks..and we can also make an Ube Hopia if you want to try it..same procedure.

    ang galing mo talaga, ate! grabe ang range ng repertoire mo.... hopia, pan de sal, mango bravo.... mabusisi ang mga recipes na ito pero para ka lng naglalaro. extensive siguro ang experience/training mo. galingan mo lagi, ate. God bless😊

    Hi salamat kabayan success!! instead of red beans filling I used ube halaya filling it's so yummy!! and for the second dough I substitute vegetable oil pinatigas ko muna sa freezer overnight instead of lard or vegetable shortening overall the taste so yummy!!God bless x

      You can use butter but it will not be as flaky as using shortening

      Yes you can just make sure to wrap them well with cling wrap

    Hi there, I would love to try these but cant find any adzuki beans at woolies or coles. Do you have any options other than adzuki beans. Thank you.

      Elvira Villanueva you can use green mung beans but buy the ones with out the green skin, you can choose purple yam as well, but I personally prefer the adzuki beans, I bought mine at asian supermarket sometimes at Indian supermarket

    hi, don't know how to bake but i love hopia the most...and i'd like to learn how to make and try it someday sooner. why is it there's a 2nd dough???? is that why the common hopia has a flaky crust?? i like my hopia smooth at the outside just like the filling ...do you undrstand tagalog???
