    I have confidence issues so have done all the resin prepping needed to start, but I haven't started. I saw this video a couple of months ago and finally am getting the nerve to try this project with Christmas in mind. I found the fabric today and ordered some but wanted to let you know that I'm copying your idea - as closely as I can manage. I'm part of a local online farmer's market. I have listed several handmade odds and ends but people seem to be focused on the plants I have right now. Maybe that will change when the weather cools off. I have Complex PTSD and propagating plants is very therapeutic so I'm not complaining - I'm just flatlining on other types of creativity. Trying to copy what you've done will also be therapeutic with the added benefit of not having more live plants to tend (I have close to 250 right now - youngsters). I'm hoping that the more interesting ideas I try my hand at the closer I'll get to unlocking my creative side. It's worth a try but I feel a bit guilty about plagiarizing your work. If you'd rather I not please let me know and I'll respect your wishes and will find something else to start resining with. Take care and please continue making and posting videos - talent like yours really needs to be seen! ☮💚🐎🐕🎶

      @@24WolfMoon girl you go for it. I don't sell these so it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I only ask that if you make a video to link me up. I hope you enjoy the process of resining.

    Do you wear a respirator when working with resin?

    • @ResinBelle
      @ResinBelle  Рік тому

      I do wear one if I'm going to be doing a large project. If it's something little I'll pour it and leave the room. But I have excellent ventilation in my craft room so fumes don't build up like it may for others.

    I wonder if you could do this Making fabric tumblers. Like instead of modpodge get your cut pour epoxy. When it'd almost cured apply to cup and then continue like you nor all would adding glitter and all and than epoxy over. You wouldn't need to worry about the dreaded oil look when you didn't seal enough on the fabric?!?! Anyone try

      @@ResinBelle I have a question about using fabric with colors. Would you recommend washing it first?

    • @ResinBelle
      @ResinBelle  Рік тому

      @@kimking9269 I didn't wash mine and it seemed to do just fine. It was t-shirt type material. Maybe that would have prevented it from curling? I'm not sure. Possible that washing could make it curl more? This was my first experiment.
