so, i have a confession … i did not really care about draculaura until g3. i have zero of her g1 dolls and the only g2 doll i own is the one that came in the 2-pack with moanica. i didn’t hate her or anything - she just didn’t wow me the way frankie and lagoona did in g1. but g3 draculaura … she is SO GOOD. i love that she has a very different body type from the “standard” dolls. and now that i’ve seen some of the animated show, i relate to her a lot more than i did with her boy-crazy g1 version. i too was an overachieving perfectionist interested in witchcraft when i was in high school. my fave g3 drac doll is core refresh, hands down. i think ghoul spirit was the first g3 draculaura doll i bought, but i still haven’t unboxed her yet - core refresh is the first of her g3 dolls that i actively collected instead of passively/because she came in a pack with other dolls i wanted more. her whole look is a vibe from the craft for me, which is one of my favorite movies. i’ve since picked up a few other drac dolls and i plan to collect more - i’m really interested to see how the pink and maroon hair in skulltimate5 looks on her, even if it will be poly 😩 supposedly, i’ve read those will be dropping at the end of this month, and i’m excited! (still gonna buy twyla first though 😆) i really enjoyed this video and i look forward to the future installments! i’m very interested in doll lore and learning about why they’re special to people. 🙂
I loved this video! The concept is so fun and different. I’m currently in the middle of my first rerooting project (a barbie) and it’s going really well, and it’s so inspiring to see all your ideas and designs 💓

Hmm I have a lotttt of rerooting ideas/projects always on the backburner, for Draculaura I want to explore some other ideas for now! I am going to reroot her SS4 doll soon and eventually SS5 too so after that we shall see
