I agree with him to some extend. However, why does it have to take 'Charlie Sloth', or any 'DJ/entertainer' for that matter, to get the message across? I fervently believe this entire 'knife epidemic' is a tiny inner city sub-culture. Like what C1 said earlier, ''If you cannot do the time, don't do the crime''
This 'handsout; assistance; society moaning' views expired in the noughties (2000s).
There are abundance of us doing great stuff and knocking down doors or building our own house. GRM is bigger than BBC1 1xtra, when I tune into 1xtra I know I am tuning into AFRO-CARRIBEAN radio channel - One of the most famous radio station. Sometime, you just need to sit and appreciate the gradual achievements. Pat Mcgrath, world's most famous Make-up artist, company Pat Mcgrath Labs is valued at billion dollar (1,000,000,000 for the mandem) and surpassed that of Kylie Cosmetics.
I am very well aware of celebrity/famous individuals charisma, persuasion and influence they have on young adolescent. This whole thing is either blown out of proportion or I have just lost touch with the 'endz'. Most victims know their attacker, thus, it's a very niche demographic of trouble makers.
Whenever people discuss this issue you get this very dangerous undertone of 'Every black person is either out to stab you or rob you', which clearly isn't the case - d'oh! I have to state this because it's becoming very blurry and this generalisation is getting me triggered you know! ( Kiki, did read this? Are you riding?
Say you'll never ever stop uploading :p )
Nevertheless, love my brother C1 as he's wealth of experience and gets his point across really well. Salam!

Some wise words and then some made by C1. I agree with a lot of points made. Our culture and communities have been used and exploited for years, for the financial gain of others. Its just a shame that many of us are too blind to see or acknowledge, whats actually really going on.
I think we're going to see many more black entrepreneurs, musicians, actors etc heading overseas to do business, as there seems to much more growth and opportunities outside of the UK for them. @AmaruDonTv...seriously big shout for this interview and many others that I have watched you shoot. Keep up the good work🙏🏽👊🏽💯

Very interesting point about the gay and transgender community being understood. Inner city culture amongst Afro Caribbean youth is not understood.

what these lot are talking about is meritocracy, glass ceiling and positionality within the cultural creative sectors in the uk. how is a urban scene being control and misrepresented by people who don't understand the culture but want to profit from it.

big respect to C1, but come on my brother..it's a lot of "they they they" you dam right THEY don't care about us, never have and never will, so we need to stop worrying about what THEY won't do for us and we need to do for self and that means a whole lot change in the manner of how we deal with each other as a people.
also lets have it right...race has a whole lot to do with it.
