Inko always has been abusive but izuku still calls her mom and she still loves her son. She only abuses him when he says something about his teacher Aizawa or as he finds out his father. When he met All Might he started to train he thought everything was good and fine until he saw the way All Might trains his students he got hit many times by All Might.
