Hi all! Thanks for tuning into this co-op review! Remember to leave a sub as I do a weekly game review (mainly co-op!) so don't miss out :) Also if you want to recommend me a game, please leave a comment as well! 😊
Honestly when I saw the drunken fighting style, I was like whoa LOL. There are so many cool fighting styles in the game and honestly it's a shame the devs just left it. Anyways appreciate you leaving a comment and make sure you leave a sub for future content :D
Definitely worth the buy, not for your friends, but for yourself. Wrapping your head around this game completely, and mastering it, is fun and challenging.
That's true ! If I wasn't doing a co op review I'd definitely recommend it as a solo playthrough. Would have loved if the devs stayed ontop of it though
It's a delightfully beautiful game with smart combat mechanics and (at least on xbox) a dedicated and humble community. Even to this day we're mixing and matching different moves into our decks and trying out new combinations. We play 3v3s nearly every night, if not every week.
The game actually has really impressive mechanics - you're right on this part. That's awesome to hear and actually warmed my heart to hear that there's still an active community going. There are SO MANY games I wish had a bigger playbase (like Vagante). Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment 😊
Yeah ! I mean to be honest it's a good game to revisit - underrated in some ways but still fun. Anyways appreciate you leaving a comment and make sure you leave a sub for future content :D
Was about to get the physical collectors edition, but now I think I’ll just get the regular physical version. The gameplay is solid from what I remember on PC, but for only a few hours of gameplay it’s not worth more than $20.
Haha don't tell anyone 🤣 I use OBS but this video was when I just started Youtubing (I mean I am still fairly new) so I didn't realise there was a game capture. Instead nooby me used Display capture and you can see the watermark 😂
Yeah it's unfortunate they abandoned it - had some promise :( Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment though (finally had sometime to reply to my comments weeks later!)
Mm i am not 100% sure. Have you checked the steam charts to check if there are players? To be honest I haven't been on Absolver recently so I wouldn't be able to tell :(
I know right LOL this comment made me laugh. I think they had great potential with the game, not sure why they decided to abandon it. Anyways thanks for leaving a comment and make sure you leave a sub for more game reviews :p
i dunno why but you calling the styles "classes" sends me into conniptions. the fact you don't even bring up Stagger and the "New" one that I can never remember the name of really sends me into a tizzy.
This video literally explained nothing. Can this be played single player at all? I cannot stand multiplayer online only games, so I'm hoping there is a single player experience to be had here.
Hi Daniel! Apologies - i'll make it clear next time! I'm trying to keep my channel more co-op focused (as a niche) but for this game, you can definitely play it as a single player game. Honestly it's probably better as a single player game
Co-op game ahah of course it's not worth buy if you're looking for a co-op game, which this isn't. The main focus of Absolver is fight mechanics, which you don't even talk about. Have you even PVP anyone?
I'd agree it's not really worth playing co-op but I've been taking a look at any game that has co-op implemented. You could strictly say dark souls is single player with the logic but it's still classified as co-op. I pvped for a bit after joining a school and trying out some of the combat. But found it a bit boring in the end 😅

Shame to see this game dying and left behind by the devs. One of the most unique and fun games to play. Was truly a rewarding combat system.
I think the combat system is one of the most unique systems I've ever seen in a game. Hopefully their new game will have as much detail!
@@ItsumangoGaming they are making a new one? Is there any Info out yet?
dang its to bad they abandoned this there are not enough fighting games with a drunken fighting style or in this games case stagger style

@@ItsumangoGaming it's unfortunate, but there's a dedicated community on xbox if you're interested. Lot of cool cats.

@@ItsumangoGaming wholesome reply thank you. Have a good day.
I had it free on ps plus like 2 years ago, I really liked it and I'm tempted to play it again because I know theres bots in the game to fight

Good video, which program do you use to record?
I see that you were recording the screen and not the game because I can see the windows watermark haha

Bought it yesterday, I already beat the story. Should have been at most 20 bucks for this.
@@street_pisser rip www.g2a.com/search?query=absolver the game is 5$ on g2a
It's like 7 bucks now

May 2020 they stated that they've been working on a new project. if it is successful they would consider to continue work on Absolver
@@ItsumangoGaming because of money, they do another game for that

Eh probably not as intense as better for honor imo?
Very useful video, thanks!
Cheers for the warm comment 😊
Wtf was the developers thinking abandoning this gem? smh
Yeah ;( But I heard they got a new game in the works!
Itsumango Gaming Yeah, a game called Sifu. It's got trailers up here, it looks pretty good.
