My first time playing Toreba I blew 90$ on TP and wasted it all on a plush that was in its starting position - I cried that night. :,>
That's unfortunate. Playing machines blind from start position is pretty risky since it can be tricky to tell how strong the claw is, how well the prize moves, and how easily it will fit through the bars/fall off the edge/etc.
Patience is key in Toreba. Better to play it too safe and risk someone in front of you winning than rushing a machine and losing all your free plays/TP.

Thanks for the nice comment, and I do plan to sell a lot of prizes pretty soon. Just delayed/holding off for a bit right now due to the virus restrictions/situation (like how Japan Post is still not doing EMS to the US). I will keep you updated and we should be able to work something out in a few weeks if that's okay. I tried to look around on mercari/ebay, and it's pretty weird how no one is selling the apples. I guess they weren't on Toreba for very long/they sell really fast.

How do you find strong claws? Also do you pay money for plays or do these off free plays?
I scan around and watch other people play. I almost never jump on a machine blind or start something from its original position. A majority of my wins are with free tickets and Tapjoy TP. Once in a while I will charge a $4.50 or two if something is dangling/guaranteed and I run out of tickets/Tapjoy TP.
do you play on your phone?
Very rarely, only if I am away from the computer and keeping an eye on an easy machine/waiting for something to get in a certain position. Maybe ~10/400+ of my wins were via the app. The main reason is due to the lag and more bugs in the app.
