U needed to break it In properly before a strenuous test like that.
My sub gets warm when using Bluetooth. If i use Aux i can go full tilt all day and everything stays cool. Sucks you blew sub. Hyanka is a nice budget sub

from what i read in the book they are rated for 45hz at the lowest and playing decaf at 24hz is below its recommended that could be what killed it just my opinion
is would did a lil better in a sealed box The output wouldn't of been there but it won't of shitted out on you (air compression would of saved the suspension

@yougod7253- This guy, BassAddict91, put 3x the rated power to this sub, and played 8Hz below enclosure tuning, without setting the subsonic filter correctly. Not the subs fault it blew, it was from abuse! This sub is waaay better than a like rated Rockville sub!
@BassAddict91- You were using an amplifier, that can make 3x this subs rated R.M.S. power, and playing 8Hz below enclosure tuning. I bet you didn't properly adjust the amplifier's subsonic filter either= it was only a mater of time till she blew, and of no fault of it's own, this my friend, was all from your abuse😁😆😂🤣

How did you let it cool down? Did you play it on mid to low bass volume or just turn it off.

@BassAddict91 that's what you should've done. So many people just turn the head unit off, which could cause the coil to fuse together, so it's always best to let the subwoofer push air throughout the enclosure like you did.
Given the xmax parameters and that high tuned enclosure, that box isn't meant to play that low, the sub unloaded that's what popped it. Clean power or not, that box ain't meant for that. That sub may have survived in an enclosure tuned to 27hz

Box not tuned to 24hz at all so that would have it not cooling right.
Facts.. but like I said in between clips I was letting it cool down off camera. But that still was enough
@@BassAddict91 I heard the best way to cool it down is to turn down the volume and let it play as in keeping the cone moving that air.

Also don't help when you put a amp that is 2300 plus watts rims on a sub that is only 800rms the sub blowing is inevitable clean power or not I been doing car audio for over 20 years and like big D says big dummy math don't jive you have bass remote turned up to over 3 quarters clean power or not you overpowered the subwoofer by double it's rms power the rms you was actually pushing was more than subs max

That's a lot of amp for a speaker that is in a box tuned for 32-34hz. I bet money it was barely moving any air compared to a sub that is better for lows. My box is tuned for 29hz and will play well into the high teens with authority. I was surprised but I also have heard good things about that sub.
