Hello, New subscriber here. I am 74 year old widow and live with my sweet rescued tiny sweet Chihuahua 🐕🐾 Dexter-Dog. May I sincerely say I will never wear distressed clothing. I wash my clothes inside out on cold, then toss in dryer 2 minutes to remove wrinkles then hang to dry on my patio. This way, my clothes never shrink, or fade and last practically FOREVER. When I years later donate them they look almost new. Thank you for showing the clothes at Walmart and modeling them for us. You look adorable in everything ...lucky you! Looking forward to all your upcoming videos. Thanks again! Sincerely, Debbie and Dexter-Dog 🙋🐕 living a quiet crafty life 🏠🌵 in southern California. 🙋🐕🏠🌵🐾🌺🌴🙏🙏
Hi Debbie and Dexter in Southern California. I lived in Southern California most of my life. Now I'm in North Carolina. I was just so touched to read your comment and I really appreciate your tips about keeping clothes looking nice. Blessings for you two.
I LOVE those white jeans on you! I think they look fun and flattering. It's interesting how we all see something completely different while looking at the same thing. :)
Agree with you 100%. I only wear dark pants, black, navy blue or dark blue jeans even in the summer. I wear light colored tops though,, bring very cold water to drink and wear a brimmed hat to stay cool. NO on white pants and no shorts at all, but did wear both when I was young.
Distressed jeans are for teens and 20-somethings. If my jeans are ripped, it's because I've been rock climbing or doing yard work. I agree that the cami (as nice as it looks) needs to have tank-top straps, otherwise it looks too much like an undergarment that you chose to wear as outerwear:) And I'm glad you found shorts you like - I am very tall and have a hard time finding shorts that don't look hoochie-momma, so I'm going to head over to Walmart and see how they look on me. Thanks for pre-shopping for us!
Great haul I agree on the button fly. I just can’t deal with that. I do have some shorts with a button fly and they are not in heavy rotation. Every time I see jeans like that, I keep on browsing. Tired of distressing, too.
I love button fly jeans:). I also purchased the white jeans and sized up 2 sizes and have really enjoyed them. I am over distressed jeans but I do like these. Love your videos.
Oh.... White jeans, I have two after looking for years. 1 is a capri from 10 years ago Kohl's Sonoma brand a little big even though they are a ten and St John's bay I got this year straight leg regular length in non see thru size 12 fit good.
Theresa I agree all the way with you about the short inseam at Walmart, I have the same problem. I still iron because I don’t have a steamer. I don’t like shorts too short or too long either. 💙
Hi Theresa! I am so happy t😁 see you and this video! I totally agree about the twisty top, I really can’t wear them because they make me look “lumpy”. I love the light blue top on you, perfect for summer and very breezy. The distressed white jeans-that’s a hard no for me too. Some distressed jeans look good, these are just weird, and then you have those buttons. Just no! LOL! Do love the shorts-I am a 10 now too and I always cuff them. I buy bermudas and end up cuffing them too. Thank you for this try on! Looking forward to that next one!
I really struggle finding any white jeans anywhere honestly. It’s super frustrating. Don’t really want to drop 100 dollars for white jeans at a higher end store.
I love a white pant but I always end up with something on them so I don’t wear them often. The only thing on these I don’t like is the button fly. That’s a deal breaker since I have arthritis in my hands.
Oooh those white jeans would be perfect for me because of the rise but I hate the distressing!!! I would not buy them just because of the distressing and the raw hemline.
I totally agree about the pre-made twist front shirts. I've bought several over the years and I never really like how they fit and have edited them out of my wardrobe. I guess ive decided they're not for me and don't buy them.
New subscriber here and have to say I love your videos! So informative and easy to find items! Thank you for all your hard work to make our life easier!
Hi Theresa well I tried some pants from Walmart a couple of months ago and I didn't get them because of the same problem you're having with those white ones and no I've never had pants with buttons thanks for sharing😁😍🥰🤩💛🧡🖤🤟🤟
I am with you, I thought the distressed look was phasing out. I have jeans from previous years that have an ever so small distressed knee. I will wear them but not buy any new ones. I like the letdown and raw hems if subtle. I am 75 and like modern looks not fads.
I love the flutter sleeve shirts on you! I was thinking about getting some, but you are right about the knot. Humm, what do you think? Are you keeping yours?? I also love the camisoles! But I would definitely need a blazer on top. Good content! Thanks, girlfriend XOXO Cheryl
As a plus size woman, Walmart used to be one of my go to stores for clothes. The fabrics that are now being used are cheap and clingy. The styles look like they raided a clowns closet! I now shop resale for better fabrics and styles!
Hi Freda - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments. Although I can't comment on the quality of the Plus size clothing at Walmart, I have noticed over the last couple of years that the quality seems to be waning on the missy pieces. Too bad.
Love a button fly! Especially with a shorter top. I think they are very flattering. Don’t care for distressed or super high rise. As fae as distressed, then all the stores are getting rid of old merch because that’s about 80% of what I’m still seeing out there……along with skinny jeans. Please!
I have a question about the lighter colored T&T cropped jeans, when I click on the link and select the lighter color of the two options they are shown with distressing, which I’m just not a fan of. The ones you have on in the video don’t seem to have any distressing. 🤷🏻♀️
Hi Teresa - thanks so much for watching. Hmmm...not sure why they show as distressed on the Walmart Website listing. In person, they have no distressing. They (Walmart) either changed the item or the listing is inaccurate 🤷♂️
The same for me on those white jeans! Too much distressing and those buttons - just NO! I have also been looking on the WM site for white jeans with a zipper, high rise and straight leg, normal length or slightly cropped and not ragged at the bottom.
Hi Nadine - thanks so much for watching! I have the opposite problem, I have very narrow shoulders and not much of a chest lol. I need all the help I can get at broadening my upper body, so for me, flutter sleeves balance me out. I agree with you, though. If I had broad shoulders, I would avoid them 😀
Just let me stop watching for a few months and my favorites change! You look smaller to me not larger and girl, where is your bright lipstick? You look great!
No way would I buy any button fly jeans, especially with any type of distressing! I've been waiting for a quality white denim jean that didn't require a loan to purchase. I know we are not alone in desiring a good pair of white jeans because Chico's, which is far from budget friendly, has sold out of the popular white "girlfriend" jeans in all but the largest size.
Hi Jani - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments! I know what you mean, the "supply" versus "demand" for white jeans this year feels very off kilter. There's either garbage white jeans, or ultra expensive, albeit very good quality, but seemingingly NOTHING in between!
These are the ugliest, most cheaply made clothing I’ve ever seen! Walmart switched their best manufacturers in the last few years! Nothing cute there anymore and all the fabrics are just the worst! Please Walmart….i miss the old days!
I stopped wearing distressed jeans a few years ago. And I won't wear button fly jeans or pants. I agree, can't be bothered to button. This was a great video!!!!
I definitely have the same problem finding shorts. I just resorted to creating a pair of cut offs from old jeans. I cut them long like Bermuda length and then roll up the cuffs.
Just yesterday I was searching online at Walmarts shirts. I like how you can choose different models however I based my choices on how they look on you. I know that sounded weird😂. It’s just easier for me to see on a living, moving person. ❤
The virtual models for plus size are difficult to visualize any fashion on because they have these women standing in the most awkward and unflattering poses.
I have the white, button up jeans & I like them. I’m 5’8” and did not size up, bought my regular size 8. I like them so much that I bought the pink ones too! Btw, I’m 67, size 8, about 142 lbs
I just bought them as well. I don't normally like button fly pants but I love these! They are super flattering on me and I did not size up either. I'm wearing them tonight to a concert!
I am with you on the distressing. Not only for the white jeans you show. I am so over it. I never liked it in the first place. I could never wrap my head around paying good money for torn clothing. I do like the style of them though.
I totally agree with you regarding the white jeans - I hate distressing in anything and never buy those items, also I don’t like button up pants (don’t feel comfortable with buttons). I don’t like excessive cut/distressed legs on jeans 🥹 Thanks for posting this🤩👏🏻
Naturally my favorite item is the top that's not online. I do all my shopping online so I'll have to check back frequently. I put a couple of the sleeveless tops in my cart to contemplate whether or not to show my arms this summer. In my seventies my upper arms have turned into something out of a horror movie. However, I'll swear that when we moved from Florida to California a few years ago we got closer to the sun. It gets so HOT! Thank you for your videos. I overlook a lot of items until I see someone model them.
I do the same thing. I don’t even consider buying clothes online until I see it on a person. The Walmart app lets you choose the model you want. So I choose a model that is similar to my body type. I too have the aging arms issue. So I don’t want to try on clothes in store anymore.
@@tammyjohnson8150You never know in my local WalMart if they will even have someone at the fitting rooms to unlock the door. It's great that they have one of the best return policies out there.
I will not buy button fly in any bottom. I drink between 66 and 88 ounces of water so that means a lot of running to the bathroom. It takes too much time to unbutton and bottom back!! I am 68, will be 69 on May 16. I retired in January from JCPenney and we could not wear distressing so I never bought anything distressed. Now since I’m not working I still won’t buy distressed items! Great video, thanks!! Have a good week!
My Walmart has white Gloria Vanderbilt jeans. Very nice denim fabric. Tried them on. Rise much too low for me. So sad, what a waste of great fabric. I say that because, with the rise so low, when seated they dip past where the Lord split my behind. Rear cleavage. Search for white jeans continues.
Hi AnneMarie - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments. Although I don't like the hassel of all of the buttons, I must admit that when I watched the footage back I DID think they cinched in my tummy a little!
I totally agree with you on the jeans. I wanted white jeans this year and had seen these on a video. While at the store I decided to see if they had them. I normally wear a size 4, but with these I had to go with a 2. Not too happy with how they fit but the for sure thing that talked me out of them was the distressed areas. Especially the top one. You could definitely see my skin and underwear. I ended up ordering one from Banana Republic Factory. They cost just under $34.00, on sale. Thick material, button up also, but no distressing. Had some stretch and probably could have got a size 2 but I washed and dried them and hopefully they shrunk a bit. From what I can tell, these will work out fine for me. Also, I wanted to let you know I really enjoy your videos.
Hi Terri - thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments. The striped tee that I'm wearing hasn't hit the Walmart Website yet, but as soon as it does, I will add the link to the Description Box!
I'm 66, have always LOVED button-fly! Being extremely super long-waisted I even love these more, plus they are not see-through! WooHoo! Then those awful 'distressed' ugly tips are the absolute deal breaker for me; not only do I hate these rips (my Darling Granddaughter had bought me some jeans with them, I don't wear them), the ones in those you showed are right up into where my chonies go! NOPE!! Thank you for showing these to us! I'm grateful!!
I have distressed jeans, but they are my gardening/at home pants. I’ve never bought a pair. Hate them. Button fly? Recipe for bathroom emergency. I have enough trouble.
Never was a fan of any kind of tops found at Walmart. They all seem to be stamped out of a mold and poorly stitched together. No shape, design or structure goes into their product. Maybe some of the knit tops are okay. I do love the way the stripe top fits you though!! Thank you for your videos.
Like you, luv the white jeans!! Fan of buttons on jeans. Look edgy. And the distressing and raw hem give this pair a funky look. Would be great with a concert tee!
Nope on the white jeans! Totally agree with you!
At 75 absolutely no rips or distress and no dresses or blouses with ridiculous arm holes! 😂

Hi Debbie and Dexter in Southern California. I lived in Southern California most of my life. Now I'm in North Carolina. I was just so touched to read your comment and I really appreciate your tips about keeping clothes looking nice. Blessings for you two.
Agree 100% about the white jeans. I have never liked the distressed look and those buttons would drive me crazy!
The distressed look can go, however the buttons are okay. IMO it takes a very lazy person who complains about buttons.
I love distressed. I’m kind of a natural style cotton only person.
@@Prairie1960 That's a little harsh to call someone lazy when you don't know anything about them.
Love your presentations; they don’t drag but get to the point quickly while not shirking info. Love Walmart too - so affordable.
Yes I would buy the white stressed jeans, love them, & I am 75!! You looked great in them. Some love or hate stressed jeans personal choice
I LOVE those white jeans on you! I think they look fun and flattering. It's interesting how we all see something completely different while looking at the same thing. :)
Blue striped top is favorite, and it’s a ‘No Go’ on the white jeans for me too
Love your hair today with the curls! Always enjoy your videos.
I hated the white jeans also, especially for older people because of bathroom issues and the buttons 😮😮
Agree with you 100%. I only wear dark pants, black, navy blue or dark blue jeans even in the summer. I wear light colored tops though,, bring very cold water to drink and wear a brimmed hat to stay cool. NO on white pants and no shorts at all, but did wear both when I was young.
@@suzannelawson9215 To those of us old farts who poop our pants all the time in public, white jeans are definitely a big no-no.
I'd wet my pants before I got all those buttons down. Glad to find your channel. What a great idea... Affordable clothing 😀
"Yeah, not ironing jeans". 😂😅. U r so right!
Great fashion for summer. Thanks for the sizing tips.
Found your channel. Loved your description of those white jeans. I totally agree.nice to see the new fashions.
Hi Maurina - welcome! Thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments 😀
Very nice pieces. My favorite was the first flutter sleeve top! Everything looked great on you!
Love the tops. No to buttons on front. No iron for me. ❤😊

I would not wear those white jeans if given to me free. I love the tops.

Hi Lorraine - WELCOME! Thanks so much for watching and for your lovely comments 😀
I bought the tees without ruching in a bunch of colors.
I hate distressing. I had button front jeans once. I only unbuttoned the top two or three buttons.

I wore my jeans until they had holes in the 1960s and early 1970s. The fashion of worn out jeans should never have left these decades.
I found pretty summer dresses at Walmart by Pioneer Women.
I need to check those out!

You are right! The stores have TONS of Skinny Jeans that nobody wants now.
I was over distressed jeans when it started I spent half my childhood try to get out of holey jeans and no time for buttons no thanks
Yes, yes, yes on the jeans. Why is a nice straight leg pair of white jeans so hard to find?
I'm with on the white jeans NO distressed denim😢 I too am hunting for the white denim😢
I would be ok with the white jeans EXCEPT for the distressing. I don't mind the buttons, but I have never liked the distressed style.
I have a question about the lighter colored T&T cropped jeans, when I click on the link and select the lighter color of the two options they are shown with distressing, which I’m just not a fan of. The ones you have on in the video don’t seem to have any distressing. 🤷🏻♀️

? American Walmart prices? Cuz im not seeing low prices like this in Canada Walmart but u dont say.

Hi Theresa ❤ I loved the blue ombré top the best. The white jeans look outdated and dumb ‼️
Thank you, but didn’t like any of the tops. Don’t like button up jeans like that and they’re way too short.

Buttons on jeans are a deal breaker for me. It's too hard to manipulate buttons.
Exactly!

I agree with you on the white button up jeans!! Thanks for saving me from buying them!
I stopped wearing distressed jeans a few years ago. And I won't wear button fly jeans or pants. I agree, can't be bothered to button. This was a great video!!!!

Never was a fan of any kind of tops found at Walmart. They all seem to be stamped out of a mold and poorly stitched together. No shape, design or structure goes into their product. Maybe some of the knit tops are okay. I do love the way the stripe top fits you though!! Thank you for your videos.
Love, love, love the white jeans!
Yes Love
Like you, luv the white jeans!! Fan of buttons on jeans. Look edgy. And the distressing and raw hem give this pair a funky look. Would be great with a concert tee!
I am a lady in her 70s age elastic waste no zippers 2x or so depending on many things. The blouses you showed i liked but a v neck is questionable.
I don’t like button front jeans. I feel like it accents how short I am (4’ 11”) and isn’t flattering.
I just hate pants and jeans that have holes in them. When I was 17 yea but not at 66. Looks like the stuff mom put in the rag bag.
The jean shorts look great!
