I'm new to Ren, and I'm taking in as many reaction videos as I can. He has mastered nearly every genre and appeals to people of all generations. Since he suffered for years with undiagnosed Lyme disease, my hunch is that he used those long days of suffering to explore music, history, literature, culture, the arts, Shakespeare, you name it in depth. He masters translating this into his work through many layers and dimensions. I think this is why he resonates with so many people. BTW, I'm a boomer who grew up in Detroit, so my musical tastes are very eclectic- as were my parents and my maternal grandmother, who was born in 1898. My grandson loves rap. His mom, my daughter, loved emo, screamo, and ska-punk.

'The Hunger' is both strange and fun. Yes, it is too short of a rap. However, if you count the words and compare to other contemporary rap songs it is pretty long. Ren just compacts words into each song and sings fast with difference cadences. Amazing fun.

BTW, I'm a boomer who grew up in Detroit, so my musical tastes are very eclectic- as were my parents and my maternal grandmother, who was born in 1898. My grandson loves rap. His mom, my daughter, loved emo, screamo, and ska-punk.

'The Hunger' is both strange and fun. Yes, it is too short of a rap. However, if you count the words and compare to other contemporary rap songs it is pretty long. Ren just compacts words into each song and sings fast with difference cadences. Amazing fun.
