He was in really bad shape coming out of the hospital and on a lot of stuff for Ermes where as Ermes was at his peak at the time which was 92kg backpressure it wasn’t a fair match. And his match with Devon was years ago he’s gotten much better ever since

Anybody who thinks Devon was somehow strong enough to hold Levan in the center is completely wrong. Compare Levan's facial expression in the round 1 rematch with devon vs his 2018 round 1 match with Vitaly. Levan looked calmed against Devon while he looked like he was gassing out against Vitaly. Against Devon, you could also see Levan trying to regrip because Devon always gets the best setup.
