Headways at the MBTA are not followed or enforced. Drivers leave stations whenever they want and critical runs are not done because of poor staffing. That means you can have a headway of 30 seconds or 30 minutes on 2 different days.
No they cant. They have to look if the station is safe to leave or close the doors because passengers might get stuck in the doors so that’s why there is a slide window next to the drivers seat or on the other side of the operating room
@galexygamer2011-jv9fs I'm not entirely sure, but the red line is busy, so my guess is that they wanted more doors so that people can board more easily
You will never reduce headways. You need to get the displays to go above 20 minutes, since that’s the headways you are giving us.

Attention Passengers: The next orange line train to forest hills is now approaching.
Last part saw The MBTA 1900’s
Oh please, there’s no way the trains on the MBTA could ever get crowded, considering the fact there’s 20 minute headways for each train.
thats a long time
Thank you
I dint understand how multiple trains one track explane please
Why does the blue line have 2 doors, orange line have 3 doors and the red line has 4 doors?
Amount of riders. The blue line is the least busy while the red is the busiest. This allows more people to get in and out of the train faster
@@JasonBentrosnowqube Ohhh I see
@@galexygamer2011-jv9fs the 1500s 1600s and 1700s red line cars only have 3 doors per side. The 1800s and 1900s have 4
