So in this song a line "I never really noticed i had to decide to play someone's game or live my own life" really describing my current situation. i am 23 years old but i am doubting my career which was chosen by my dad. i originally wanted to become designer but ended up graduating engineering school. i am currently working as engineering which i really suck at. i was at crisis while ago which was to decide if i stay living like this or switch my job/career.... as Steve Jobs once said: "the only way to do great work is to love what you do". i think what he said was right.. i also can't suck at engineering because this is really responsible job! so i'm quitting soon to 'live my own life'. i love how she sings about being free you now? love her

Those chords are basic chords. Creep is one of the first songs I've learned on guitar. I've come to realize that music creation has its limits. It's just mathematics, really. There's a specific amount of chords, notes, beats, etc. that we can make, and it's not infinite. And the more basic your music is, the bigger the chances of you composing something that has already been done. This song is similar to Creep but I think it's stupid for Radiohead to claim ownership of a basic chord progression, especially when the rest of the song ( lyrics & all ) has nothing to do with "Creep". It's like Tom Petty's songs. Of course Tom Petty's songs will sound a lot like other songs. The guy wrote many simple songs with popular chords. What musicians need to understand is that we're living in the age of worldwide music creation and the originality of music is quickly running out because so many of us are producing content all around the world. I love both Lana & Radiohead as artists. I’m trying to be unbiased with my opinion. I can totally hear why Radiohead is suing. The vocal melodies are just way too similar in the verses to not be considered the same. If Weird Al has to pay rights reserved or copyright fees for his parodies, Del Ray should have to do the same. However, her chorus does set the two songs in question apart. I hope this will be settled out of court. And is closer to a 50/50 split.

personally, this song resonates with me because of a past situation i was dealing with. it involved a guy, who basically played me but the time we spent together in those 3 months just felt.. so real? different? i had never felt this way with a person before, he was like a boy version of me. and the moments we had together, felt genuine AT least i thought so. after i found out that there was another girl i cut him off completely. just walked away without confronting him about it. and i felt awful doing so.. i felt like the bad person, and i cried so much for him, thinking about scenarios where “what if i hadn’t found out?” or “what if i just ignored everything”, and this song really helped me with getting over him. because as much as i wanted to ‘be’ with him, it was just a game to him. and i know he believed that i would chase after him, but no. IT WAS HARD BUT im at peace now, there’s times where i think about him, but i try to focus on my life goals. this may not be a love song, but that’s how i interpret it personally. regardless of that, it’s an amazing song. 🤍🎀
Been a Radiohead fan for a long time and gotta say, I think this song is better than Creep. The folks involved in the recording process knew it was a ripoff, but it's so damn good! I would have kept it and risked getting sued, too. Her phrasing during the verses is absolutely stellar! Then the surf vibe in the choruses (B7 chord) is really sweet. I've been singing/playing Creep for a long time. So now I can do sort of a medley...mix both of these songs which would be quite entertaining. And I get to celebrate 2 songs that I really like at once. Now if only I could sing as well as either of these vocalists.....

Came to hear this after reading about the lawsuit. Radiohead are my favourite band....& I love Creep...and Lana has ripped it off...not to mention the lyrics 'out of the black into the blue' which brings to mind Neil Young ....BUT I just have to say....I LOVE this song!!!!

personally, this song resonates with me because of a past situation i was dealing with. it involved a guy, who basically played me but the time we spent together in those 3 months just felt.. so real? different? i had never felt this way with a person before, he was like a boy version of me. and the moments we had together, felt genuine AT least i thought so. after i found out that there was another girl i cut him off completely. just walked away without confronting him about it. and i felt awful doing so.. i felt like the bad person, and i cried so much for him, thinking about scenarios where “what if i hadn’t found out?” or “what if i just ignored everything”, and this song really helped me with getting over him. because as much as i wanted to ‘be’ with him, it was just a game to him. and i know he believed that i would chase after him, but no. IT WAS HARD BUT im at peace now, there’s times where i think about him, but i try to focus on my life goals. this may not be a love song, but that’s how i interpret it personally. regardless of that, it’s an amazing song. 🤍🎀

Been a Radiohead fan for a long time and gotta say, I think this song is better than Creep. The folks involved in the recording process knew it was a ripoff, but it's so damn good! I would have kept it and risked getting sued, too. Her phrasing during the verses is absolutely stellar! Then the surf vibe in the choruses (B7 chord) is really sweet. I've been singing/playing Creep for a long time. So now I can do sort of a medley...mix both of these songs which would be quite entertaining. And I get to celebrate 2 songs that I really like at once. Now if only I could sing as well as either of these vocalists.....
