  • Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima (three famous sights in Japan,World Heritage) looks like it is floating on the sea at high tide, and at low tide, you can see the shrine from below. , where there is a large change in tide level that allows you to get close to the Otorii.
I made a time lapse of about 12 hours from about 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Please see the continuous change of the tide level which is difficult to see by just sightseeing or watching.
The high tide was 308cm at 6am on the day of the shooting and the tide was 288cm at 7am when I started filming. It was.
Low tide was just after 12pm and the tide was 78cm.
You can walk to the Otorii gate when the tide is below 100cm.
High tide was around 7pm and the tide was 322cm.
Depending on the day of the visit, the tide may be high or low, so you may not be able to see the shrine as you would like to. It is recommended to check the tide and tide gauge on the website of Miyajima Tourist Association before you go there.
