I was at that game. Incredible performance by Suh. Can’t help but think about what the Butterfly Effect would have been had they won that game. Does Nebraska still bolt for the B1G? Is Bo still at Nebraska?
I was at that game too... Texass is classless AF, but because I respect elders I didnt put a beating on the TX guy who tried to throw his drink on me after the game. Sure, I was ranting about getting effed on national tv, but last I checked we had rights to say what we wanted. In hindsight, it was attempted assault on his part and I somewhat regret not giving him a temporary tattoo under his crossed eye.
Does Nebraska still bolt for the B1G? YES, Texass was the only team getting properly paid from B12 tv rights. Is Bo still at Nebraska? No, he had a massive target on him by people with too much money and not enough to do.
Ask Bo Pelini if he’s got a second. LOL!
Watch the replay. Clear as day. There WAS 1 second left. It’s not even debatable. Nebraska lost. No question. Ball landed with 1 sec left
One of the most epic "chokes" of all time (kick out of bounds + horse collar) was nearly followed up by an even more epic one (McCoy running out the clock on that play). There was 0.7s left on the clock fairly clearly. The difference between the ball hitting the railing or ground was at most 0.1s so that didn't really matter.
The only real question was whether or not the clock was reviewable in that situation. Technically the rulebook states that it is not (due to the timing between ball hitting OB, ref raising arms, then time-keeper stopping the clock once signaled taking a variable amount of time), but it was overruled due to a rule that basically says anything can be overturned if significant enough to warrant it. The famous 1s at the end of this game has solidified the idea that the clock is reviewable on the last play of the game, but somehow, it's still inconsistent when it comes down to the last play of the first half.
And to boot both Texas head coach and QB failed to call a timed out, and got rewarded with a bogus exra one second to win the game , RIDICULOUS , A SCREW JOB

Tell me you didn’t actually watch or even know the rule? The ball is dead when is crosses across the out of bounds line per the ncaa rule. Not to mention that the ball did hit the GROUND with 1 sec left. You can go back slow down the video to half speed and literally see it for yourself

That’s insanity. There was instant replay that was reviewable and it was conclusive that 1 second was indeed left on the clock. 💯go look it up even the commentators both agreed instantly when it happened. He’s an idiot for saying Nebraska won the game.

What a joke. Anybody that has actually seen the replay (which you can find easily on UA-cam) knows there was a second left on the clock when the ball hit the ground. Many Nebraska fans readily admit this. You didn't even need slow motion to determine this. Not only did the ball hit the ground before the clock ran out, but there was even time for the sideline official to subsequently raise his arms signaling a dead ball before the time ran out. Pelini either A) has never seen the replay or B) Cannot admit that he lost fair and square. He could literally find the evidence he's asking for in 10 seconds.

so i had to watch the highlights of this game after because if a coach of all people is gonna say some shit like "they rigged it for Texas to go" i gotta see it cuz that kinda makes you go 😳🤔. after seeing youre team literally kick the ball out of bounds to give it to them on the 40 and then get flagged for a obvious horse collar its not a fix its a choke 🤷♂️. i can honestly say too there was definitely 1 second left.
