Because he got hits in his other two ABs. Not only that, but he grinded out said ABs and really made an excellent pitcher work.
Cause thats what soto stats are good at, when he face the pitcher second time he always gets it even last season, got struck out 1st then hit 2 AB then dodgers walks him.. Everyone praising him of his consistency at batters box at very young age. Specially that its the ace of the dodger hes facing not just a reliever
