I was 15 old when Gloria Díaz won the Miss Universe Pageant which I watched on TV. With all my respect to her as a delegate from the Phillippines that year but she was much beyond other delegates as my favourite even for the semi-finalists ones. I couldn't believe my eyes when she came into the final 5 and when she won the crown. The judges are mad? I thought... Besides I started to think she as a person had to have something positive and up forward to pass on to the jury and the people that were around the girls for a few days trying to extract their best and their worst in order to create a winning group of 15 and 5... However time passes, we grow older and learn with life and now a days I can see her with totally dfferent eyes as we can absorb from this interview. Now I understand she had to have the plus, if not with her height but with her brains or whatever was. We also know these pageants have always being up to political sympathies and financial interests that I have no idea whether this was involved or not. Anyway... My cheers for Gloria!

Super dumb answer. I don’t know why? This old queen won miss universe decades ago. Listen 👂 to her answer, I kept watching and listening to it. It didn’t make sense to me her answer. Yet, she criticized one of the miss Philippines pageants that she can’t speak English, I forgot her name but she did it good on Q&A portion. Some how her dumb answer she got the crown. Maybe the politics played the role of this why she won. For me, Pia and Cat had the best answers on the Q&A. They were all prepared to compete and they were beautiful, sexy, and brains OMG! Of course they got it. This old queen her answered was like this “Oh! Hah! Dah! Dumb!” I hope you agree with my opinion.
