- It's Spring and all is well with my soul... my wardrobe on the other hand has some catching up to do. So, let's hang out while I pack up my Winter wardrobe and pull out all of the bright and cheery pieces that have been packed away for far too long.

You made me smile.😊 I’ve finally got rid of my fantasy self clothes. The ones I want to wear to be feminine. I’m just not.😅. I’m always up ladders painting and doing diy. Knee deep in mud. Scrubbing the kitchen etc. Even on my days off. I’m more of a capri pants with a white t shirt and flats in the summer type. Boots and jeans in the winter. I’m finally able to accept that is me.😊
It’s one of those kinds of situations where you just have to learn to enjoy the idea of something and be ok with it not being a part of your life… like me and embroidery. 😂

These overalls I found from Old Navy are the first overalls I’ve ever worn that don’t make me look like a toddler or my dad. 🤣

“for fart’s sake”….I’ve just acquired my newest byline. Okay, don’t give up on the white stuff. Soak it for a day in a bucket of water with 1/4 cup of blue dawn and white vinegar (I just pour it in). Rinse it out well, launder as normal. Sometimes it takes a few times through, but I’ve had probably a 90% success rate on cotton, cotton-blend, linen (I don’t soak as long, maybe an hour at a time), and my BF’s favorite white golf shirt that he spilled red wine on.
I've had to get creative with my "bad words" lately now that the small one is starting to repeat EVERYTHING. 😳😅 Thank you for the laundry tip. I was thinking of having a bucket that I just keep filled in the laundry room to toss stained things in because I'm horrible at actually treating stains. It sounds like your method is tried and true especially if it saved that white shirt.
Might be too personal to comment on but I wanted to tell you how happy I am that your breast issue resolved itself. As women we are so aware of our bodies and how our clothes fit. I feel like you have regained your body and that is powerful.

Oh the swatches. They just feel like a permanent abstract art piece at this point. 🤣 I haven’t picked a color yet. 😭 I love the idea of green but I’m seeing so much of it lately that I feel like I have to do something different. So now I’m toying with the idea of a dark blue or even just doing a white wall with architectural elements and then I’ll never have to worry about matching the wall to anything. 😅 Decisions, decisions. 😭🫠

I love the striped romper and green dress! Would you mind sharing the brands?! I have a wardrobe full of old dingy clothes. I want to try the 333 method, but want a couple new items to spruce it up.
Both are from the Target brand Universal Thread. As long as the material is primarily cotton everything I’ve gotten from that brand has held up really well! Good luck on your 333 journey! ☺️💕
It's hard to think spring when it's 46 one day 70 this weekend and low 50's next week (PNW) so right now the closet has two seasons hanging out! Your wardrobe does a good job of covering both!
We’re all just doing our best over here aren’t we? 😅 I was outside today bouncing back and forth between just a long sleeve shirt and then bundling up with 2 coats on top of that. 🙃

I was kind of thinking the same thing, but I think with the pull over sweaters, the rompers and dress I’ll be ok.. but also… we’ll see. 😅🤣 When the weather really starts to warm up, that will be the true test.

They’re the OG Straight Overalls from Old Navy. I’ve gotten 3 different colors over 2 years and the sizing and fit stayed consistent. I just looked online and they’re 50% off right now! They fit really nice and are holding up well! It’s a piece I’ve come to love so much I can’t help considering getting a backup pair for the future. 😅
