Like how after Kagome heals her that one time, she offers an arrow that proved to be of great help against Naraku and even offers to go and faces off Naraku to reduce the risk for Kagome. And at that point, Kikyo is still in the process of healing her wounds. In other words, Kikyo is similar to Sesshomaru in this regards. They don’t often communicate to others via words but use actions instead to show their feelings.

Shooky_sugar Yes, Kikyo also had to move on from her past with Inuyasha but she has her priorities on Naraku from early on and thus a reason why she avoided Inuyasha to focus on the series’ villain, especially during the later parts of the series. Kagome, unfortunately, took until the end of final act ep7, which is why I commented on her finally having her priorities right in ep8 of the final act. Ultimately, the key difference is that the two girls represent two different themes: Kikyo and her duty and Kagome with her love. This is why when it comes to putting duty before love, Kikyo is able to get her game on quicker and is more efficient at dealing with Naraku

Capacidad para crear ambientes donde los protagonistas podian ejercer valentia y organización de grupo en fin un personaje sumamente creado, adaptado y distribuido en el anime de manera espectacular digno de envidiar.
El anime hace ver cómo una persona horrible a Kikyo. En muchas escenas la hacen ver fría o mala, cuando en el manga es diferente, aunque pasa también con Aome y con Inu jajaja mejor dicho, cambian mucho de varios personajes

Kikyo's was breaking down because of the miasma spreading inside her body. Futhermore Naraku tangled Kikyo in spiderwebs to weaken her spiritual powers.

Besides we hardly know what Midoriko is capable of in the series. And Kikyo is pretty much debuffed for the entire series, having so little of her soul, which is the origin of a miko’s power.
