I feel so bad for jack in the blue tape. He’s clearly so uncomfortable with the obviously objectifying questions he’s being asked. No one should have to go through that.

I just realized that in that tape the interviewer didn’t realize he put a hit on Jacktor when he told the listeners to check their mr June which his birthday falls on June 15
They were pretty much harassing Jack in that interview & kept pushing it over & over asking him inappropriate questions.
U could tell Jack got annoyed towards the end but remained professional.

So far we know, Jack is well trained in manipulation ( I bet he purposesly makes himself "disappear " just to get the MC to say what he wanted )and has the ability to mentally and physically hurt people ( or get them to hurt themselves), which is what happens to Nick. Shawn is a movie director, so he knows production and film well and Ian is trying to become an actor but both have a longer history and stronger connection with the MC. Both of them coming back will be a real problem for Jack. The MC is the perfect target for Jack since they are very vulnerable after breaking up with Ian. Something bad happened for the company to erase all traces of the show ( so popular but the Mc couldn't find anything about it). I can't wait for the full game! Moonshine and Sunshine, I noticed that!

@@reicho3034 At some point yes, if he's able to physically make pancakes then he can interact with real world items. If he needs us to stay "alive" then eventually he would become physically real to not just us but for everyone.

There were a few other posts with hints of his real name: a detention report because Joseph was caught with a knife and cigarettes and got suspended (most likely lashing out due to his bad home life) and a memorial cross that has the name washed away partially but you can see it somewhat if you look closely.

oddly enough with the last tape it remind me of how Steve from Blue's clue's felt with the knowledge, that kids are looking up to him and the impact those thousand of kids will have from him, and how overwhelming that fact is.

@@anniesmiles4758 No… I don’t think it would be like the Beldam from Coraline. Jack wants someone to remember him. I think the main reason of his obsession with us is because of the fact that he was quite literally erased from existence by the studio of the Sunny Time Crew Show.
Remember, no one remembers the show, or the actor behind Jack. The studio had to “erase his bad past” before becoming a kids’ show host because he wasn’t exactly a clean & upstanding citizen back in college. Then the “Incident 84” happened, causing the studio to cut all ties with Jack and erased his show persona as well. Jack’s actor was poorly buried, with his true name faded and smeared on a wooden cross, and no one to mourn his death because no one even knows who he is.
Jack won’t “eat” you, but I think he will keep you somewhere only he can access to make sure you never forget him, or leave him.

And he's kindness towards them and the way how he manipulates mc has sprung so many red flags. Heck they even did the deed without mc properly knowing who he is!

Remember, he already sleeps with you in your own bed, as if he were already your husband/boyfriend/lover! Think back to that moment on the couch you started cuddling him. Besides the fact he could’ve done this “puppy-eye act” so that you would end up doing something that says you want him and make him stronger, there’s also the fact you suddenly got the idea of kissing him when he held you in that warm embrace. Why on earth would you want to kiss someone who you’ve only known for about a month? There’s only one explanation, Jack’s using hypnotic suggestion to slip these ideas and choices into your mind.
Who knows, maybe Jack was using MC all this time to become real again, as MC is still down from the story with Ian, and ends up actually loving MC? Maybe that's what will wake the killing-type Jack?

Ok, i have to put this out here.
I myself grew up around questionable things for disclosure of my knowledge.
In the interview he mentioned the mothers loving him,his physique,and his tattoos. But in the game when you make a crappy frozen yogurt he remembers his past and says things about how he's"better" and "clean".
My thoughts are that at the start of his career jack could've been a drug addicted porn actor who got his start a stardom by accepting the role of sunny day jack. The trauma of his past and his past acting career could be a reason why he feels the need of being loved and remembered forever seeing as how he died before that could actually happen when he started flourishing as sunny day jack...fuck that was a lot but i hope you fellow fans like, and feel free to disagree its just my crazy butt making assumptions😁
You might not be wrong about that. But I think the past Jack’s more worried about is his life as a delinquent at college. It might be possible Jack WAS a porn actor or starred in one of those “calendars”, but twitter confirmed that Joseph (Jack’s true name) had a dirty background as a college delinquent.
However, the reason I believe Jack became a ghost is because he was erased from history altogether. Joseph’s bad rep could prove a big problem for the show if it were to come to light. He needed a clean slate if he was to be a kid’s show host, so they erased his past from the public eye. But then the “in incident” happened, causing the company to erase his life as Sunny Day Jack to free themselves from the possible lawsuits. It left Jack with no one to mourn his death so… I think you can tell why he wants you to always want and remember him.

This guy who's just trying to make a living is the embodiment of a "can-do-no-wrong" role model for kids. When I was a kid growing up, adults who played child-like roles for kids shows like The Wiggles and The Doodle Bops were always seen in an innocent lighting from my innocent perspective-But at the end of the day, these actors and actresses are ADULTS. Meaning they've most likely indulged in all the things that makes you..well..an "adult". And it doesn't have to mean going to bars or clubs and drinking and/or smoking..hell having a spouse and KIDS lets you know you've crossed that threshold.
Basically what I'm trying to say is, "Dan" waa trying to get all up in the man who plays the role of Sunnytime Jack's personal life by baiting him what what would seem like inappropriate questions that isn't relevant to the topic at hand. Hence "Jack"'s uncomfortablness.

I've been thinking about this, that if Jack was just using us to get back into the people's plane, why would his tape exist?? If in reality all he wants is to return to our plane, that tape would not be there, and if the tape were still there, he would not say with such possessiveness that Ian would never reach his level, and he definitely would not say with that intensity either and it could even be said "passion" that he would never let us go, especially with the yandere laugh at the end lmao

I like to believe one of the main reasons Jack is crazily obsessed with the MC is the fact he’s been completely forgotten by the world.
In the Official Twitter page for Sunny Day Jack, you’ll find that the actor behind Jack is “Joseph Cullman,” and Joseph was NOT an upstanding citizen back in college. He had tattoos, skipped classes, smelled of cigarettes and smoke, and would almost constantly get suspended. At some point he must’ve wanted to turn his life around and start out fresh, as evidenced by the tape recordings and how he wanted to be Kids’ show host. However, Joseph’s “dirty” background proved to be a bit of a problem for the show. Being the host of a kids’ show is a VERY important role, as hundreds of kids look up to them as role models. If people discovered Joseph’s bad history, the show is as good as dead, so the studio behind the Sunny Time Crew Show erased and covered up all of Joseph’s past and even his name. If you noticed in the interview with Dan, they couldn’t name Jack anything else except his onstage persona. That’s a VERY odd thing, because interviews often use actors’ real names. The show was a hit until something happened called “Incident 84”, and I’m betting that it had something to do with Jack’s true identity coming to light. Incident 84 led to the death of the show, and the death of Joseph. That’s when the studio cut ties with the show altogether, and erased everything about the show, INCLUDING Jack.
With both his lives as Joseph Cullman and S.D. Jack completely erased, there was no one to mourn his death. He was buried in an unmarked grave, with his name faded and smeared over time. He dedicated his life to this show, but when he died, they erased everything about him. Why wouldn’t he be a ghost? That’s the reason why he wants the MC. He wants someone not just to want and remember him, but to love and stay with him forever.

I don’t think “not wanting” Jack could easily make him disappear like he says it would. Remember how you phase through his hands if you say that you don’t have a boyfriend? I think he did that on purpose to guilt trip you. It was an act. Simply “not wanting” him doesn’t make him easily go away. However, I do believe he was telling the truth about needing you to want him. Wanting Jack seems to make him more capable of different things, such as interacting with objects and cooking for you, and even carrying you in his arms to bed! He said that in a “tape” that there’s a piece of him that’s growing bigger and stronger in the MC, and I think that’s what he meant by that. At some point, Jack might become visible to everyone as if he were a real person once again. He needs you to want him to make himself stronger of doing different things!

Could be related to his dialogue he says when you make the worst yoghurt (abt how he's "not that person anymore"). That gave me vibes he doesn't want to be reminded as who he was when he was alive bc of his past. To add, everyone loved the Sunny Time Crew Show-and by extension-Jack, so in that context it makes sense if he's keeping up his Jack persona

Jack could have had fake feelings at first but gained true feelings around the time the game is being played.
