Listened to them all very carefully many times. Out of all 05:30 was the best sound for me. It is well rounded and fruity. That Porsche 914 has a very distinctive classic sound. Wonderful note when it goes up into second gear.. . 😌
Definitely the type of racing I would be most interested in seeing in person.😍 Bozzy, just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to list all the cars and drivers in the description, mate!👍 You go above and beyond and that's one of the things that sets you apart from the others. Bravo, sir!👏👏👏 Here's a question for you, could you pick a favorite? I don't know if I could even choose a top 5 from that diverse selection of cars. They are all amazing in their own right. Have a great day, Bozzy! 🙋
I just noticed I completely forgot to answer a few comments here :/ As I've already told you, if I had enough money I'll pay you everything to come here and watch one of these hillclimbs because they're my favorite kind of motorsport right now. Yes, picking up a favorite car is challenging but I'd say that Golf (0:29) and the little Mirage (2:50) are my current favorite hillclimb monsters. I always have a soft spot for the Skoda Fabia WRC (definitely not a stock WRC the one you see here) and that Z4 GT3. And it's really hard to remove from my heart and ears that screaming BMW straight-6 engine at 0:43 hahah
19Bozzy92 Thanks again, Bozzy. I have to take my daughters to a show in a few minutes, but when I get back, I will watch this one again to see your personal faves. Cheers!🙌
Hey Bozzy, is there any way you could upload the uncompressed audio tracks of these great videos somewhere? As you know, youtube compresses audio and significantly alters the sound quality. If you could do this I would be so grateful. Would love to hear the old F1 v10 and v12s in uncompressed FLAC!!
I was already wondering of something about that. Like opening some sort of website/blog where to upload the uncompressed files. Problem is I'm really really busy just by doing the few usual things and I'm not able to manage something more right now. Never say never anyway
I think all those people are paid actors, they show no emotions whatsoever with those incredible sounds. Please someone hire me to be there, I will be quiet
+billy heaton No doubt about that, but hey,top class cars in Europe are also crazy.Check out Karl Schagerl's Golf 2,Dan Michl's Lotus,Reto Meisel's Mercedes 190 Judd(his old car),Roger Schnellman's and Ronnie Bratschi's Evo 8's,Milan Bubnič's,Fulvio Giuliani's,Marco Sbrollini's and Felix Pailer's Lancia Deltas,Seat Leon R32 by Dejan Dimitrijević,Nikolay Zlatkov's and Keith Edwards Audi S1's,Georg Plasa's BMW e36 Judd and BMW 134 Judd, Herbert Pregartner's Porsche 993 GT2 and 997 GT2 or Toni Buelers Mitsubishi Evo 6.These cars are some of the finest monsters Europe has to offer. Some of them are competing, some used to,but they are all equally attractive and amazing race cars and incredible pieces of engineering as well.Let's agree that both Pikes Peak and hillclimb championships in Europe gather together the most brutal and most extreme race cars that exist.
Is it me or do these cars seem to mostly have really tall 1st gears requiring a lot of clutch slip? Is this done so 1st is a usable gear in the tight corners?
On top of what has already been said; a lot of the higher spec formula, and Prototype cars won't have handbrakes to hold them. At least, that's why some hills in the UK have them.
Man I love the rear of these race cars with the transaxle exposed, rear diffuser/ aero and the thick tires

That feeling when your Pantera has the lamest engine sound.
I felt the same! :(

you should see the cars at Pikes peak in the U.S.A it is crazy

The Panteras were not loud enough.. Too quiet.
Is it me or do these cars seem to mostly have really tall 1st gears requiring a lot of clutch slip? Is this done so 1st is a usable gear in the tight corners?
I think for a lot of those engines, they rev so high that there is very little torque down low, requiring a lot of clutch slip out of the gate.
Come to Lučine please!
Show!
Hillclimb=Anti lag 😅😂😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I would love to have a rough idea how fast these cars accelerate, 0-60 etc.. :)
mostly under 4.0 seconds
@@xTNPxDEVOTED Under 3 I would say
What car is that at 1:07
0:32 ,, what make of car is that
hillclimb with Ferrari.. thats whats called money in this sport..
Whats that thing on the end of that stick for again??
So that drivers don´t have to use brakes on the start
Like chocks that are used for planes but opposite so instead of stopping it going forward it stops it going back.
Drivers Start in neutral, that's why the chock is under rear wheel "Old-School launch control"
On top of what has already been said; a lot of the higher spec formula, and Prototype cars won't have handbrakes to hold them. At least, that's why some hills in the UK have them.

What is that yellow car at 0:14 seconds?
Ford mondeo, maybe ex-touring car
Why a hillclimb Mondeo? Whyyyy? That's like strapping a jet a engine to a wet mattress!
Its an ex touring car probably and they were successful racing cars in their day. Most cars can be good if they are set up well and enough power!
