- This clip sees the opening couple of minutes of ITV2, presented by Gabby Yorath and Vinne Jones with a feat of ITV celebrities from the time. Also look out for the gigantic DOG, on TV you can't see all of it.
The channel was only available on Cable & Wireless and On Digital where it was available in 16:9 mode, on CWC we had to bear 4:3, at times that didn't go to plan.
Apparently the ratings for this programme at the time were only 700 I remember. - Розваги

By coincidence, ITV2's launch took place on the same evening that the last-ever edition of World in Action was broadcast on ITV(1).

The fact how Billie Piper Launched the channel is still mind-blowing,she was a popular Music artist so I'm not surprised.

That song It Takes Two was also used in the American Dad! episode 'Twinanigans' - which had just aired on ITV2 at 9:30PM on Monday 30th March 2020!

Today is 20 years of itv2 I'd wish they'd do something special😉
ITV2 will go back to the archive old shows in January 2021.
ITV2's old shows will return in January 2021.
ITV and the other channels should revert back to the 2006 corporate rebrand next year.
Hopefully, ITV2 will bring back the classic TV shows next year.

Now it's 2018, itv 2 will turn 20 in December I wonder where it all wrong
Good video, hard to believe that it's nearly 10 years ago though! ITV2 did struggle for it's first few years though, as ratings were quite low, mainly due to their refusal to join Sky Digital. Once "On Digital" started to go wrong, it was funny that ITV then launched both ITV1/2 on Sky. Quite ironic that after it did launch on Sky, ITV2 fast became one of the most popular digital channels, whereas it's launch was only watched by 700 viewers!
I still don't get why itv channels dont just come with sky digital?? Surely theyve seen their viewership affected because of it ? I know you can tune it in but ..

ITV2 used to be crap shit - current affairs, and then omnibus editions of soaps already on the main ITV channel back then. But now, we get ALL the good stuff like Love Island, Family Guy, American Dad, etc. So, as of 2017, we have entertainment, and ALL current affairs programming is now back in the hands of all-news channels.
I hope you are being sarcastic about Love Island.
I'd trade Love Island for current affairs any day of the week.
