First time EVER fishing this lake! (Co-Angling With DC)

- DC and I have a few hours to fish so we hit up a random lake in Texas to see what's up! It's spring time and the weather has been getting warmer recently so those fish should be doing their thing making beds and preparing to spawn. I’m in the back of the boat for this one as well so this will be interesting!

I went to Lake of the Pines last weekend in East Texas and caught 18 fish on beds using a black and blue lunker log. My best 5 was 27 + lbs. Caught a 7lb 13 oz bass.

Man, his rods are worth the 140. I have had 3 for a year or so and they are LEGIT. but think about it, he uses them and wins tourneys. That says a lot. Look at the warranty on it as well
Those favorite rods break way to easily and quickly. Buddy of mine bought 6 rods for the season. Not a full year I’m already 4 of them have broke from “normal weekend tourney use.” They’re not worth the money at all…. I let him try a Duckett rod and he is set for years….
