I recently acquired at a garage sale a vintage 1936 Slivertone radio with no antenna, but working. It covers 500khz through 15mhz. Would this be a good antenna to get this beautiful beast back on the air?

I've been playing around with the airspy youloop and rtl sdr but I also have a nooelec LANA LNA attached to the balun. It appears to make a big difference in the number of frequencies received indoors. I'm also able to get good VHF reception even without folding into dipole. I don't know if there will be a big difference if I test outdoors.

The waterfall and spectrum are not running smoothly suggesting that your sample rate is way too high for your computer to handle. Am I correct or is this a problem with your video capture software???
