Umm, liquid glass have been in use for at least a couple hundred years, and in the 1940s it basically became a mainstay for our modern life. So get ready, for, the past!
I think you can answer my question, if water glass is dried in sunlight, does it leave glass shards? Like actual glass is it sharp, secondly does it have adhesive properties too?
Not really. It eventually reacts with C02 while losing water to make hard silica gel. It can get kind of sharp, but its not hard enough to do much--it cracks/breaks very easy. It does have adhesive properties and is used extensively in industry for making cardboard and carton sticker paste/adhesive for those properties. But it eventually gets very brittle and powdery--so it is not very good for long term.
Seems like it is a modified sodium silicate, with colloidal, nano sized particle of the sodium silicate in the water. I wonder if they used fumed silica as the silica stock? It could also be lithium silicate, as I know this is used to treat wood--adds like a hydrophobic coating.

If it makes a waterproof barrier because it's made of glass, then what was the windshield made of?
Is it Sodium Silicate?
How do you coat fabric with this?

It has UV Resistant property and compatible with concrete slab?
Can I use in concrete surface?👌👌👌
Does it gib yu silicosis?
wowww thanks for sharing .my question is water glass is water based so how we make it waterproof ?
Sodium silicate
Cinderella would be proud. Uncle Will
Carbon dioxide is the catalyst for water glass but this is liquid glass I'm going to research if its different
No, I’m not ready for this. I’m not done dropping my phone in water just yet.
Lol i just got this spray for my shoes. It’s pretty cool
soooo... fancy rain-ex?
Sodium Silicate
Where can I get this, in texas?
Can it be sprayed on an asphalt shingle roof?
If you want something for an asphalt roof call me, I can help 2252295593

What a totally uninformative video!
AND???
Agreed... you gotta work it out for yourself
Those would be the worst paper towels in the world
Werbung in ein Werbevideo zu schalten, das halte ich nicht für sinnvoll.
Liquid Glass? Wtf is that? Sodium Silicate?

Dip your phone in this
Lolol
Shit I talked too soon 4:55
Liquid glass is a dumb name for this. It's commonly used to describe epoxy resin. Just call it what it is . silicone
