I think it should be highly appreciated how this project incorporates elements from d'n'b/jungle/breakcore into something that is already a fusion between punk and post-rock. Borrowing from all walks of life is one thing, but bridging the gap between electronic and analog music is definitely one edge above the rest. Not to mention that the end result sounds great. I am really, really hyped for their first long-form album.
They sound like they are going to be the next act to blow up from the underground scene like black midi , black country new road and Squid did . Incredible track !
@@yesmk000 Nah. Knocknarea isn't nearly as good as Ants From Up There is, and as far as I don't really like that much black midi, I still appreciate their albums more. When Maruja will release their debut album, then maybe we can talk. Otherwise, don't be such a stereotypic fan who cannot appreciate other peoples music

@@yesmk000 from what I've heard, black midi seem more experimental than Maruja. Although I can tell that all of those bands (Black Country, New Road; black midi; Squid and Maruja) are great and they make great music in today's conditions. All are from UK, and it seems that they make new ways of listening to music these days. I hope Maruja's debut album will make them more appreciated, although that EP already did put them on the map
The energy of your songs is absolutely magnetic. Perfect balance of pressure and relief on those riffs and precise poetry. This is so much better swans and black midi. Keep doing what you doing lads, love from russia
