Just so you know, light can shine through slabs and stairs which makes mood lighting much easier
A cool tip: if your up for the challenge, then make the entrance to the nether in the overworld into a giant portal, so when you fly through it, its like an instant transmission to the nether. Love your videos btw!

How are you so good at hardcore mode and how are you not at 500k or even 100k. You have done impressive stuff and I stream hardcore mode and I can only make it to like 200-300 days

And ONE little trick with spawn-proof nether-fortresses:
You can add a layer of netherbrick-slaps on top of it, and I swear, if you don't tell anyone, people wont notice it. It will look a little bit more beefy tho, but hey, it works fine!
