The syntax shown for Javascript in the video is for Client-side and the server-side doesn't need the tags.
Just like TypeScript, we can write the normal function without script tags with console.log() to print value and not using the document.write().
The Javascript you are explaining is client-side not the server-side.
Server-side Javascript(Node.js) has the same syntax as the TypeScript with the `.js` extension.
