Every year in March the Sacramento Tongan Women's World Day of Prayer committee under the leadership of Mrs. Amelia Leafa Tuita Pale (President of the committee) and Mrs. Seini Langi (Secretary of the committee) organize this interdenominational fellowship. This year, ten local Tongan churches participated.
Women's World Day of Prayer ('Aho Lotu 'A Mamani) is an international, ecumenical, prayer movement initiated and carried out by Christian women in more than 180 countries and over 1000 languages. Every year Christians of many traditions and all ages, celebrate a common day of prayer on the first Friday in March.
