    • @arthurross8553

David, I would be careful about claiming that a particular company is 'ripping off their workers' simply because another employer has provided additional benefits. If your employer is operating within the legal award structure, and you have accused them of breaching that award, they may have a right to come after you legally. Just because somebody has a different arrangement with their employer, doesn't automatically change your employment agreement.

100% Government and business always blame us of "being lazy" and not wanting to work in these jobs .. but that's a fallacy. It's not that we don't want to work, it's just that we don't want to work for the shitty below poverty wages that are being offered. And that applies in all the Western nations where the globalist corporations and governments have control. Surely we can't all be lazy. We built one of the best nations in the world and western civilisation is by far the most desired to live in. Suddenly we can't build or doing anything because we "too lazy" or "don't want to do that job" BS! If we need STEM talent then corporations need to go back to training their own staff not getting taxpayers and Uni students to pay for it... or indeed other nations to pay for it so we can pilfer their talent.

A lot of people who are on the jobseeker payments are used as cheap labour on golf courses and other places that are associated with the staff at the labour hire office. Basically the unemployed are providing the labour hire companies with employment to the detriment of the unemployed. Labour hire companies get x amount of money per person to have them on the books and the companies are meant to provide meaningful, productive employment and training to the unemployed so they may aquire full employment.

I remember Romanian crews employed as subcontractors to harvest grapes locally, for a reduced rate of pay, the locals frozen out of employment they'd relied on for extra income for years, particularly the women who had a chance of earning money in this community. I'm sure business owners call this behaviour "freedom of enterprise".

@GraemeMarshall-u7w I was awake over 20 years ago. I warned and tried even to communicate to Geneva council, UN and every Senator and Minister. I received no reply, no response. As a researcher and analyst I delved deep. Fabian society is only an arm of the beast that poisons deeply all we love and cherish. So now instead of anger I love as it's the only power I have. My son witnessed every step and I realized I had done enough and I had to leave with him to give him something of a chance for his future. We are beyond trying to wake people. They don't want to believe it for fear drives them to ignore. They would rather hold onto the illusion of comfort whilst prices drive them further into poverty and homelessness. We are beyond talking. We still believe our duopoly of a system will still work to save us, when the truth is that it is upto us all to raise sword and shield for the generations of our youth. No my dear brother. We are at a turning point and only few stand against the armed forces that are used against us all. God will be the adjudicator. This I know in my heart. Bless you but hope is the illusion they sell us, so that we sit back and wait to see the results.

If you've wondered why there are a large amount of Boeing incidents occurring you need look no further for an explanation. And it's not just Boeing doing this. It filters down to truck driving jobs and even manual labour. All are being replaced by cheap overseas workers in the US. Elon and Vivek are in trouble for supporting the H1B because it's not what MAGA voters asked for .. in fact they want the opposite. Keep all jobs in the US for US citizens only.

ATO outsourcing to ProbX is a perfect example. Staff paid less than the equivalent Public servant. In fact considerably less to the point that a retail worker is paid at a higher rate. They are expected to be at work early to set up systems and read email and respond prior to the official start time. This is wage theft.

Their designed to circumvent some part of the act. Any prosecution would bankrupt the relevant LH entity.

Casual employees these days are based on the minimum wage standard regardless of the eba agreement. Usually the full-time employee go with this as they are fooled by the union and don't want a Casual to be paid more than the full-time employee. The Casual rate os supposed to be 25% above the eba agreed wage. But the workplace don't want that so every single employment agency dropps down to the award. Which is actually illegal. But if you fight it then you get black band from the agencies in that industry and many other industries. As that also interferes with the agent employed by agency remuneration or bonuses. I know many agents that have brought there house based on there bonuses. It is a destroyer of the employee future. These government officials need to be fired and this system needs to be shut down.

Point is we “shouldn’t” have enterprise bargaining agreements! We had a totally workable system of wages and taxation this country decades ago, they’ve known these scams were going on, they did nothing to mitigate the damage to every Australian tax payer, we all pay tax one way or another, and they still steal more from people who have already bloodywell paid, three tumes over! They know it, and allow it to continue!

This is how Labor designed it in agreement with the unions. Don't blame employers as most EBA's are for full time employees ONLY (again agreed to by Labor and unions). Casuals are NOT covered by EBA's at all. They are Award rate employees plus whatever loading for casuals is applicable (usually 25% but not mandatory). That is how Employers cut wages by reducing full time workers and using Labour Hire casuals who they can legally pay less (thanks to changes agreed by Labor/unions).

How about researching the wage theft from farmers by regulating we have a global income and regulated to buy from a very over regulated, taxed combines with index wages to inflation, all with a margin attached till it finds a farmer. This has created the situation where farm production costs rise over 10 times faster the farm gate incomes. Just divide urban wages by 10 to see how much we get paid. The worst discrimination in the history of Australia.

The question is not about the mechanism of process. Your role as public servants is to give proper informative answers it is not to buck pass. Of course the victims of wage theft can object. Yes they will repeal your enterprise agreement, with a thank for your services here is the front door. You know you have the answers but you won’t say it in public as it just might open a Pandora’s box. These unions/public servants are conveniently in separate silos. Nobody knows or does anything. Sack the bloody lot. Transparency is non existent currently. As a tax payer I did not get anything informative out of this senate estimate committee meeting except the same old same old BS. Why do you still have a job? There’s plenty out here that could do your job as we don’t have any financial interests/gains, we are not part of the boys club. Australia needs an Audit from top to bottom by we the people.
