This is the first time I've witnessed a Praying Mantis defeating a Japanese Giant Hornet in nature. I've seen two videos on UA-cam where the Giant Hornet overcame the mantis, but this is the third video I've watched, and I'm thrilled that the Praying Mantis emerged victorious. Despite facing two Hornets, the mantis still prevailed, in my opinion.
These two hornets were not out to look for food, so they did not enter a fighting state. If the hornets attack first and use stinger, the mantis will die.
Admit it, as much as people hate on giant hornets, they've got more loyalty than most humans do. I didn't see that second hornet pull out a camera and start recording 🤣
