A child would equally respect the mother who sacrificed her career for her children as well..its not just one way that if a woman works, only then the child will respect the woman...respect comes from what parents do for the child either while working or just being a housewife..i definately belive that a child upto 3 years needs a parent to be beside the baby most of the timefor emotional development and attention ,.because a child is able to speak well only after three years of age..so if any woman sacrifice for just some few years for the children that is respectable too..both the parents should be working when the financial status is not so good so jn this case the mother also has to work...but for very rich people like hero heroines, there was no emergency to do work for both the parents..one parent can afford to stay with the child for one or two years and they can manage to get films and offers even after some years later in life..
BANG ON!!! I loved it when Kareena said its HER RESPONSIBILITY to make her son A MAN who grows up watching women also work and treat them EQUALLY and understand WHAT WOMEN WANT. And that makes a MAN a MAN. That's the attitude that every mother should have especially in a male dominating country like India. Yes. Parenthood doesn't mean to just POP OUT kids. A lot of men in our country are so rude, arrogant, so disrespectful towards women and hot-headed brats coz their parents never tutored them on women in the way they should. Sons are always given more privileges whereas daughters are always said to keep quiet and they totally have a different set of rules for girls. And that's why..even the brothers grow up dominating their sisters and mothers first and later their wives. India ki ammaye and fathers pyar jataaney ke chakkar mai beto ko aurat ki sahi value karna sikhana bhool hi jaatey hai. Baap bhi faltu mai ladko ko sar par chadakar rakhtey hai. And that's where the SEED OF GENDER BIASNESS IS SWON WHICH LATER GIVES RISE TO ISSUES LIKE FEMALE INFETICDE, GENDER BIASES, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND WOMEN EXPLOITATION. I'm glad Kareena is using her stardom to spread such STRONG AND MEANINGFUL MESSAGES like these. This is the best way to use your power as an influencer. KUDOS TO YOU BEBO!!!
not every woman wants to work. go to middle class west. many working mothers would love to stay home with their children. not working if you have kids is not a bad thing

It was more on making men right from the time they are toddlers to understand and value even women and consider them equal which Kareena too is speaking about. It's you who are narrowing down the whole perspective to just working. I mentioned the larger picture.

I don't think there is any law but the hollywood parents keep their children much away from media attention unlike bollywood parents
@@aratrikghosh2717 There is a law / regulation that prohibits media taking pictures of children without parents' permission. Kristen Bell and few other celebrities had worked on it. To be honest I don't think any parent would want their kids to suffer whether Bollywood or not.

SRK used to cover his son’s face growing up... eventually gave up cause he knew it wouldn’t work and that’s how the paparazzi works in India. The paparazzi should be considerate enough and think that these people are also normal human beings. They can’t be living their life covering or hiding their kids every time they walk out the house.

The housewives who do daily chores of their homes are as commendable as working women.. If I have a son or a daughter , I would just teach how to give respect , get inspiration , give and get love - to all the genders .. and my mom looks after the house.. she chose to be a housewife and I’m so proud of her . So working and non-working are equal in terms of respect and love 💖

Why!? I’ve been born and brought up in the west and here women are FIGHTING for maternity leave. The baby needs his or her mother until at least one years old. Go back to to work but not until baby is a toddler. Women are not machines and babies are not toys. The only women I am impressed by are those who sadly have NO choice but to go back to work right away after a baby because they are poor or need the money. I’m telling you, keep celebrating this “back to work right away” and jo halat American or Canadian mothers ki hai, wo India me bhi aajayegi and this is not a good thing. It is not easy here for women to get time for their babies.
There was nothing great about what she did. She has thousand people doing everything for her Ur child needs you first. Focus and enjoy that then fuck of back to work.

Well I just want to say one thing that people keep saying that Bollywood is changing now there are women oriented movies being made but I just wanna say that even in the classic era there were many movies where women had the bigger role or pivotal role. Like rekha did a lot of movies where she was the lead sadhna ji is an example like she signed a 3 movie deal with raj khosla which was a pretty big deal

She's not being praised for being a working mom. You're right there are many working moms out there. But it is very few who reach greater heights work wise after having baby. It is hard for working mothers to climb the ladder due to many different aspects. she is 1 of many who have been able to do it. She is leading actress in successful movies. She deserves the praises. Do you feel like she's getting too much focus on this? Most likely since she's a celebrity that's often seen on media continuously. Yes she is not the only or first working mom but topic is highlighted in media because she is a present public figure, an inspiration and it sells.
