Every honest emotion is a positive emotion and yet we are made to believe that some are positive and others negative. Though expression of an emotion can be both healthy and unhealthy, adaptive or maladaptive, we tend to suppress, repress, displace emotions or distract ourselves. This short video helps us understand how we normally manage emotions or our "go to" responses.
In the longer video I cover how we can regulate emotions (not just express) and the way in which we can manage triggers. Though the video is made in the context of anger in parenting it can be used for other emotions and contexts.
