@@franzjosefvonliechtenstein9245it all came down to this, your journey makes you fight demigod after demigod, until you reach him the last one. That’s when you truly learn about the tadgedy of the golden order imo. Insane storytelling through music and design
the first phase music is well structured but there is this thing underneath its layers of notes ,like the melody is boilig, I think it serves the fight vibes so much it portray the organised fight style of messmer but the boiling thing that i feel underneath portray the serpent within him burns , then phase two came and it is pure chaos it feels like the serpent erupt from within him to burns and swallow every thing
For me this slowed version conveys the pain and depression of Messmer, especially at this point, this point in the base song represents his desperation along with throwing all his pain at you, but here it's like he's just allowing it to hit him, finally breaking after keeping a strong face for so long.
@@dalekdoctor420 for sure, even in both versions :( the poor guy has been through so much, and only in death does he realize that he’s been used as nothing more than a pawn in his mother’s schemes, abandoned by the one person who gave him a purpose in life. it’s so sad especially when you can tell that despite the crusades, he has not so cold of a heart as one would think. he’s not just a formidable and evil demigod, corrupted from power, but a broken and troubled man, desperate for his mother’s approval and love. i thought morgott’s story wounded me the most out of all of the demigod children but man… seeing messmer’s emotionality crushed me in more ways than one. he’s such a well-written character.
Messmer truly was the heart of the dlc, what an amazing track
@@erikrose2803 agreed, he’s my favourite boss from the dlc
